Publisher's summary

Turning 27. No problem. Inheriting my grandfather's winery. Been waiting all my life. Moving back to my hometown. I can handle it. Getting married to my old high-school sweetheart. Wait, what? We hate each other's guts. But I only have 30 days to turn my company around or lose it forever, so I don't have time to worry about that. Besides, she's days away from declaring bankruptcy, and merging is our only chance. There's a big problem though - only one winery can survive.

Before we even entertain a little game of survival of the fittest, I have to put a ring on her finger. Easy. Right? Not so much. Paris Elizabeth Hollis Fairchild isn't interested in my plan, and it really pisses me off. Apparently, she doesn't know me as well as she thinks. Doesn't understand I've changed. Doesn't realize her rejection only spurs me on. Proving her wrong becomes my mission, a mission I won't fail.

There's a thin line between love and hate...and she's about to find out just how fine it is. Paris was my first. And I'm going to make sure I'm her last. Just wait and see.

ReWined!

Kim Karr is such a versatile author that I love every one of her creations! This first volume of ReWined is a friends to enemies to we aren't quite sure yet story! Paris and Tyler were together in high school for three months. Now 10 years later, their paths are crossing again and the only thing to help each of their family businesses may be to work together. But can they? From the very start of the book, we feel the chemistry between Tyler and Paris and it is still strong. So much has happened though, I am not quite sure their relationship is ready to be both business and personal! Karr has worked her magic, giving us lots of humor, a very beautiful and independent heroine and a hero who doesn't take no for an answer! It's alpha, steamy and all out fun! I can't wait to see what happens in volume 2 since we are left with a little cliffhanger!

Ava Lucas and Benjamin D Walker are the narrating team for this story. Lucas, as always, is wonderful. She gives that determination and independence to Paris, and yet, I can still feel that wanton side of her. Benjamin D Walker has an incredible alpha male tone in his portrayal of Tyler. It gives him that self confident emphasis. Together, I laughed, felt for their situations and am waiting for more!

I'm interested so far

Part one of this story has me on the hook. An interesting conflict, steamy chemistry, and a lot of unsolved mysteries. I love the vineyard storyline. I'm definitely intrigued enough to keep reading. The most frustrating part thus far is the male voice that the female narrator uses for Tyler. It's so forced, so low, it ended up being almost inaudible. So not a fan.
