Story
When Lister got drunk, he really got drunk! After celebrating his birthday with a Monopoly-board pub crawl around London, he came to in a burger bar on one of Saturns moons, wearing a lady's pink crimplene hat and a pair of yellow fishing waders, with no money and a passport in the name of "Emily Berkenstein". Joining the Space Corps seemed a good idea.

Story
A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

Story
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

Story
Somewhere on the frontier between thought and reality exists the Discworld, a parallel time and place that might sound and smell very much like our own, but which looks completely different. Particularly as it’s carried though space on the back of a giant turtle (sex unknown). It plays by different rules. But then, some things are the same everywhere. The Disc’s very existence is about to be threatened by a strange new blight: the world’s first tourist, upon whose survival rests the peace and prosperity of the land.

Not my cup of tea
I found this story to have a very basic, repetitive plot, one dimensional characters, and a dull ending. I hoped it would improve by the end. sadly disappeared.

Sets all time writing/reading lows for sf
First off, the quality of writing comes across about like something a developmentally disabled AI would produce. I'm serious! The storyline lurches around like a three-legged horse on acid. Contractions are mostly beyond Stetson's skill-set. The love/sex interludes play from the pov of a kid who was traumatized after wandering into his parent's bedroom at an inappropriate time. As for the narration, it's laughably awful. Remember when you were in grade-school and had to listen to kids read reports? 🤓The reader also continually mispronounces words. There is a horrible fascination listening to this train wreck though... but you'll probably want to experience the audiobooks while drifting in and out of consciousness with a pitcher of martinis.

Unbearable
I didn’t get past the 3rd chapter. The story seemed fine but the narration was horrible. Dull monotone and zero voice change during character dialog.

Couldn’t finish the bundle.
The performance was terrible. The person just seemed like he was reading something that he wasn’t interested in. He didn’t try to do voices or really show any emotion whatsoever. The story itself had possibilities, but there was too much repetition and big things would happen and the writer would just gloss over them as if they were not big things at all. I’ve listened to literally hundreds of Audible books and this might just be the worst one ever.

Not related to BBC Red Dwarf
This is a bate and switch, clearly aimed at fans of BBC Red Dwarf. It’s not related and is poorly written weak story and poorly referenced the bbc stories (truth serum at trial) save your time and credit. This is pure Smeg.

Don't waste your time.
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
If the author had been more focussed on writing a riveting suspenseful story rather than an extended series of repetitive declarative statements. No humor in this, no passion just vapid, oft repeated sentences.
Has Red Dwarf Bundled turned you off from other books in this genre?
No, just makes me want to read better. The underlying story could have been great but the actual point to point execution is lacking.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrator can only read what he's given. It's clear he tried to assume the "by golly, by gosh" affectations of the authors writing style but ultimately, it falls flat because the writing style is so blunt and lacks any depth.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment. I honestly bought this without reading the description. I thought, from the title, it was related to Red Dwarf (the British Sci-fi Television show) by the BBC. It is not, and I am done with it.
