Horrible AI narrator

The stories were a bit short to me and the first one seemed to end abruptly, though it could have been me since I was listening while doing other things. Also, I thought the books were perhaps a continuation of the previous story or maybe connected to each other in someway, but no, they were three separate stories. Overall, they were alright.

Virtual Voice is Terrible

I really don’t like the virtual voice reading! Mispronunciation, no inflection, sounds glitchy… it’s just bad.

Couldn't finish the first book

I prefer non-Christian clean historical romance so I really wanted to like these books but did not. I listen to a lot of VV books so am not against it per se but this voice needs better training as it had more than the usual amount of mispronounced words and odd phrasing and inflection. Book 1 opens with author asking people to cut her some slack for any historical inaccuracies. I thought this was weird but basically was left feeling sympathy since people can be so unkind for just the slightest hiccups. That is not the case here. There are so many anachronisms that I couldn't stay in the story. Every 5-10 minutes there was some word or phrase that simply was not used in the time period. Bottom line - I wanted to like them but couldn't even finish the 1st book.

Shallow sappy story wise with ai reading

So boring, no character development or period interesting details. Glad it was free or I would have been very unhappy
