About this listen

Megan Holloway can't stand her local morning show co-host, Adam Warner, even though he's a total hunk. He goads her on-air until she says things she regrets. But since ratings increase each time they have an on-air fight, the producer encourages his behavior.

When a relationship specialist comes onto the show purporting that Adam has hidden feelings for her, she reluctantly agrees to go out with him - on camera. What starts out as one date turns into a viral dating show with Megan and Adam alternating between locking lips and knocking heads.

As Megan fights her growing attraction to Adam, their popularity increases and ABC takes notice, offering them their own program. Not a morning show like Megan is hoping, but a dating show in which she and Adam must marry at the end. With the promise of a hundred thousand dollars and the possibility of scoring what she really wants, her own national program, she signs on.

What she doesn't know is that Adam has fallen in love with her, and his objective is to get her to do the same.

Nice clean romance

This book is sweet, clean and romantic. The narrator is good. I liked the plot.

Definitely chick lit

I’ve listened to the married series multiple times. They’re clean and they’re in the romance package. This one is probably my favorite.
Yes it’s crazy, no these plots wouldn’t happen in real life, but they’re a fun escape.
I’ve listened to or read everything Lieske has written and I just enjoy them.

Another fun, clean read!

MY TAKE
Megan and Adam were very likable characters, and I loved the gradual way their love for each other grew--even when they fought it and even didn't want to believe it. I also loved their internal feelings when they realized they had taken the dare element of what became a competition too far.

The dates were fun and the book had some great dating ideas if someone's looking for things to do, especially the getting to know each other ones.

My only real beef with the story was the fake doctor. I think, once the online show had gone viral, that other people would have wanted to know more about the doctor and her credentials. I think people would have found her out long before it occurred in the story

I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did a fair job. She handled the dialogue very well but her prose sections felt a little stilted.

A little too corny!

I was looking for a light and funny read. It was a little too unbelievable and the character connection was not there for me but the story line had potential but didn't develop

Ahhhhh why.

So I listened to the first book in this series and didn’t love it but I thought well let’s go to the second, they are in the RP. Well I won’t be moving onto the third. I liked this book all up until the plot did a way big curve for no reason and added an unnecessary layer that ruined it for me.

Reluctantly married

An entertaining book! An I!imaginative author wrote this story and a good narrator made it come alive.

Clean and sexy

Who knew that clean and sexy could mix so well. The writing is superb, the narration flawless and the romance top-notch.

Refreshing

Needed a break from the heavy stuff while at work. The end goal was predictable but I’m not disappointed at the journey.
