About this listen

It took one night with her to know she was my forever.
It took one minute for me to climb out of bed and drive away from her.
It’s taken me three years to confess that leaving her behind was the biggest mistake of my life.

I won’t stop until she knows what she means to me. I’ll convince her to listen to her heart.

It took one night for all of my dreams to come true.
It took one morning, waking up alone, for those same dreams to come crashing down around me.
It’s taken me three years to confess that night changed me forever.

He says this time is different, but how do I open my heart up to a man who’s already ripped it to shreds?

Dull and drawn out

The book started out promising but unfortunately, I found this book to be extremely drawn out and repetitive.
I ended up fast forwarding and then changed the listening audio speed to 1-1/2 times to make it go faster.
The storyline was sweet and almost vanilla. I didn’t find this to be her best work.

Meant to be...

Loved this easy listen. It shows that if things are meant to be, they will be. Great narration. Definitely recommend! 👌 👍

Will “I’m sorry be enough”

I absolutely loved this one. Collins and Grady’s story is such a beautiful one. Well after the fact he left her after their first night together. But I loved how Collins makes Grady work for her forgiveness. If u love second chance romances this is definitely the one. 5 stars.

Great read

Sweet story. Love all the Kaylee Ryan books. Love the happy endings.

Hope there's a follow up with the roommate.

Sweet second chance story

I'm going through multiple Kaylee Ryan books and I really like her books. This book, too, is sweet. A lot of the angst is in the beginning when Grady has to convince Collins to give him another chance, after he leaves her. Otherwise, it was just a sweet story about young love and love that comes with additional maturity. It is a little slow moving and while I love the low angst, I think that it could have been a bit shorter. However, it was enjoyable overall.

The audiobook has Teddy Hamilton. In my mind, that's enough said because I love his narrations. Excellent timing, excellent control of his voice to play multiple characters and honestly, there's just something about his voice that I love listening to. Callie Dalton is new to me but she was good to and paired well with Teddy Hamilton. I thought that her difference in male and female voices wasn't as clearly delineated but I think she still did a good job and their narration elevated the story.

Brother's best friend

I love the best friend's little sister trope, it's one of my favorites. Everything between Collins and Grady is complete perfection. Their love was the kind of love everyone is looking for. Callie Dalton and Teddy Hamilton's narration of their story was, of course, everything!!

I love Teddy Narrating This

I always enjoy any book by Kaylee Ryan, and I am happy to say that this one is no different.
This is a best friend's little sister, second chance romance.

You get so much love with this story, and I really enjoyed the way the man tries with everything he has to get that second chance.
He doesn't give up!

I enjoyed this audio and the narrators reading this story. They do a good job with the emotions of the characters.

I LOVE Kaylee Ryan but...

This story, while well-written, was kind of dull. The premise was kind of weak. The characters were Kaylee’s usual...wonderful, kind, loving, down-to-earth people whom you want as your friends. But the storyline was so uneventful. This one was a miss for me.
The narrators did a fine job.
Overall, I’d recommend the book and I cannot wait for Kaylee’s next book. If you haven’t read this author yet, try any of her other books. The Southern series is flawless.

Welllllllllll

So I listened to about the first hour and then fell asleep for 2 hours woke up and continued to listen. Needless to say if you can fall asleep for 1/4 of a book wake up and not feel like you missed any important information it's not a great book.
