Publisher's summary

It started with threatening phone calls. Then someone tampered with Tamara Bennington's brakes. When she barely escaped an attempt to run her down with a car, it left no doubt somebody wanted her dead.

How far should a man go to repay a personal debt? Is abducting an heiress too far? Rane Masters believed Tamara's safety was worth any risk. She might never forgive him. She might even charge him with kidnapping, but she'd be alive and kicking when she did it.

The only thing the Renegade Texan couldn't predict was falling in love with his beautiful captive.

Critic reviews

This very sensual audiobook gives us two strong-willed protagonists I enjoyed spending time with. Ms. Barker's hero, Rane, can take me to his cabin anytime he wants to -- I'll go willingly! Ummm good!” (VAD of Rendezvous Review Magazine)
“The powerful chemistry between these lovers makes each and every page sizzle.” ( Romantic Times Bookclub review)

Renegade Texan

Thought I was get a cowboy western. No so. Drama and romance. It had me interested from being to end. Alexandra Haag was good. I was concerned at first, she pulled it together nicely.
I received this audible book free and this is my honest review. It’s worth a credit

Any additional comments?

The narrator Alexandra Haag did a wonderful job with this book. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end.

If you are looking for a great book with well-developed characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.

Thoroughly enjoyable!

Tamara is rather independent. She seems to be "unlucky" lately. When the threats increase - and she would have been killed if Rane did not interfere, he takes matters into his own, and does what he feels is necessary to keep her safe. Makes for a great "listen". Highly entertaining, with perfect mix of intrigue and romance.
