About this listen

Fame...

It's all Angela Peters has wanted for the last 12 years. Determined to keep their focus on their band, Panic Station, she and Garrett made a pact that they'd never sleep together. No relationships. No distractions. Now, on the brink of getting everything she wants, she wakes up in bed with her drummer the day before their big tour begins - a recipe for disaster.

Love...

Garrett Donalson has been in love with Angela since they were 12 years old. The moment she broke their pact, he thought he'd finally found his forever with her. Unfortunately the road to success is paved with lies and deceit, leaving Garrett fighting to keep the girl he's wanted for so long.

Sometimes holding on to what you have is harder than getting what you want.

This series just keeps getting better and better

Any additional comments?

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review. Kim Loraine is quickly becoming a new favorite author on my bookshelf. Her books are so engaging that I am hooked and invested in the characters and this series that I just want more. There are two more books in the series (the latest just released to ebook) but unfortunately their not on audiobook as of yet. I hope they come out soon since it's hard for me to find time to sit and read books, which is why I love audiobooks so much. I can listen while I work, drive, do chores, etc. love multitasking. Kim Loraine's books remind me of those of Kristen Proby, Cora Seton, and Corrine Michaels who I am a one-click addict for. I highly recommend this series and author, and the narrator has done a great job too.

Amazing!

Kim Loraine is an extremely talented author and Susan Fouche did a great performance. I enjoyed this story regarding Angela and the price of fame. This is a standalone listen, yet part of a series. I liked the consistency of the characters woven into the various books in this series. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I do not like to give away spoilers in reviews, but I think this one might be my favorite story in the series. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and/or publisher.

Great story and Susan Fouche is great!

Another great addition to the Golden Beach Novel series. In ‘Resonance’ we have a story about a rising band, what lengths people may go to obtain fame and notoriety, and at what costs.

I loved Garrett and Parker from the very beginning, Angela…not so much for a lot of the book. But then again, she was blinded by what she felt needed to be done to get the fame they all wanted for the band. I would even venture to say I more than just didn’t like her for part of it, I dang near hated her for what she was doing to Garrett, and what she wanted Parker to do. That is a testament to Kim Loraine’s ability to create realistic characters that you can’t help but fall in love with, even when they are driving you mad!

There are just so many feels in this book. The angst and drama will keep you on edge-wondering how crazy and far things will go. How will everything affect the band, and more importantly, their relationships? How will they handle the crazy ride to fame? Who will get hurt? Who will crash and burn? You have to read to find out! I love this entire series and cannot wait for the next book.

Changing Up The Series

Different from other books in the series, this contemporary romance had the angst of a new adult story. A friends to lovers story, the author flashes back and forth between childhood and the present. The heroine struggled with thier bands fame while the hero was more mature, and it seemed unlike what we'd seen of her from previous books. In the end, after a whole lot of crazy, the HEA was sweet. The naration was engaging, voices of all characters distinct. This was a good listen.

Resonance

What happens when you get the fame you’ve always wanted and yet not the way you expect? With this book we find out and go along for the ride with some pretty interesting characters. I really liked this book, just like the previous ones in this series and look forward to the next.

Heartwrenching and Heartfelt!

Another winner in the Golden Beach series. Kim Loraine keeps giving us warm, heartfelt romances with characters that are intertwined from book to book. I love it when you have that happen, it makes you feel like you are part of the community and are coming home when reading. We have Panic Station, Angela, Garrett and Parker leaving to go on tour for the first time along with the launch of their first album. To say the least, these complex characters have different views of success and how to get there. The love between Garrett and Angela is strong, but their "pact" to keep relationships out of the band keeps getting in their way. In steps Aidan, the lead singer for the headlining band they are opening for. To keep the public focused on their tour and keep record sales up, Aidan and Angela have the paparazzi focused on them. Lots of angst and plot twists keep this story going, and kept me listening . The shear emotion of the situations had my heart twisting and turning, routing for team Garrett, then feeling soft for team Aidan! The outcome of this book is predictable yet so satisfying, you can't help but be so happy!

Susan Fouche narrates this book to perfection. She has done an incredible job with this book giving us the emotions straight to your soul as they happen.

Great story

This was a great book. I really liked Garrett but Angela didn't make the best choices for herself or the band. I really liked Aidan and kind of hoped that he would get the girl. I enjoyed the narrator this time, her voice sounded normal and not a higher pitch.
