About this listen
When fluffy turns feral, civilization crumbles.
In Burrowfield, the apocalypse arrives with twitching noses and bloodstained fur. What begins with one exotic black rabbit—Count Muskola—explodes into a nightmare as the town’s pet population transforms into an organized army of predators with a taste for human flesh.
As the military establishes quarantine zones and government agents lurk suspiciously in the shadows, veterinary technician Margot Reed discovers the horrifying truth: this is no random outbreak. It’s calculated evolution, a carefully orchestrated extinction event with roots in classified research that was never meant to see the light of day.
Underground, a vast warren spreads like cancer beneath streets where neighbors once lived ordinary lives. At its heart sits Count Muskola—resplendent in top hat and waistcoat, crimson eyes gleaming with unnatural intelligence as he builds his kingdom one throat at a time.
“Remember my face,” he promises Margot. “You’ll see it again. In your nightmares. In your future.”
With society collapsing, allies few, and safety nonexistent, Margot must evolve from prey to predator. In a world where humanity is being systematically replaced, survival means embracing the hunt.
The fluffy apocalypse won’t wait for you to run.

Quirky fun!
I actually really like this book! It's very offbeat with dark humor...I wish the author had more. My only gripe is the virtual narration. Maybe for your next book have a real person read...l
