Steve Vernon
Ghost stories.
Everyone knows one.
Everyone can tell you one.
Ghost stories haunt and linger and tantalize.
Come on along with Steve Vernon - ghost story collector, writer, and teller - as he brings you eight of the creepiest yarns imaginable, stories that will creep up on you and teach you the fine old art of the booga-booga.
Eight stories - including Steve's haunting salute to the road gang, "The Forever Long Road of Olan Walker".
Walk down this road, if you'd like to.
Or better yet - run!

I am about the only member of audible who listens to Steve Vernon. Most of his writing is pretty off key and seems too silly or disgusting to many. It is unfortunate that I can not recommend this book. None of the stories are awful, but none are great either. It does not help that all his recordings sound like they are produced in a drafty basement. I have now listened to everything available at audio and suggest if you are interested, start with NOTHING TO LOSE: THE ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN NOTHING
