About this listen

Autumn Jackson had a rough life in the rough streets of Southwest Atlanta. The smart girl has plans and visions of life beyond her bleak surroundings. A life-changing incident at the age of 15 transforms the sweet girl into another person. Her innocence is lost, and she is willing to do whatever it takes to secure that bag.

Her and close friends, Meka and Qianna, set off on a journey to run up a check up. They follow the bad examples of the bad girls in the hood while adding their own unique twist.

Will they achieve the riches they seek or die trying? Either way, they are Atl's finest.

Good book!!! Hard to get into the narration though.

Such a good story line!!!! hard to get into the narration though, he should’ve had someone with a more relatable tone. Overall, great book! so much so I just got the set and I’m going to start off at book 2.😊

W I C 😆😅🤣

Loved the story line. It's almost a true story on how hoodrat thots are groomed to be who they are and not even realize it. My only gripe was the narrator and that dang W-I-C! Shawty, its pronounced "wick"😁😆😅🤣

The narrator was all so wrong

I'll have to read it on my own because it didn't go with the story time or place.

Great book horrible narrator

The book was great but it killed me how proper the narrator was. I don’t even think she was understanding what she was reading. The ghetto twang was MISSING. She kept saying W I C instead of WIC (wick). Her reading threw a lot of the book off it would have been ten times better if I would have read it. But on a positive not Mr. Salaam never lets me down and this book was a great!

Story is Very Good.

PLEASE replace the narrator Addison Barnes!! She ruined the whole story.
Her Voice and performance sucks. It's the way she made her voice sound, and she cannot petray Characters. She should not be narrating any book.

Not good

This book was very slow and it never picked up. I was always waiting for something to happen that would get my attention and it never did. I don’t think I’m going to read part 2.. Only thing that even kept me listening is the Narrator but the storyline is Horrible!
