About this listen

Ruth Cardello, the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of Up for Heir, turns a fairy-tale romance into a sizzling bedtime story.

Rachelle Westerly needs a break. After years of acting as the family peacekeeper, she’s finally ready to take a step back. Her movie-star brother has offered her the perfect escape. But on the very first day of her vacation, she steps onto a red carpet and straight into the arms of a real-life prince - and the promise of just the kind of flash and fortune that tore her own family apart.

As the soon-to-be leader of Vandorra, Prince Magnus de Bartelebon always gets what he wants - and the regal bad boy wants the sweet American schoolteacher. Although he should be announcing his engagement of convenience to a neighboring princess, Rachelle is the one he desires in his bed and by his side.

While the drop-dead gorgeous Magnus might be almost everything she craves, Rachelle can’t help but think that falling for him would be a royal mistake. He may be ruling a kingdom one day, but she’s in charge of her heart. And he’ll have to win it with more than a lap of luxury - as inviting as it is.

I personally did not like the prince and was mad when she gave herself to him. I didn't like his version of cocky.

Prince Magnus was a no for me

enjoyed the plot development. The sexual content was a little graphic. Not recommend for the adolescent. The character development was good.

great story

This was a good addition to the series. There wasn't too much angst or low self esteem in it. The part I didn't care for was with the two main characters going back and forth between wanting each other and mistrusting each other. One minute she wanted him, the next she was pushing him away saying no,no, no. That's just a stupid part of romance novels. Otherwise, I enjoyed listening to the story. There was humor sprinkled throughout the story. You get a hint of what's to come with Eric's story.

Nice Addition to Series

I loved this book (swoon) what’s not to love about a handsome prince and a strong woman. This was a great read and even better audio. I love the Westerly clan. I look forward to hearing more of Magnus and Rachelle.

I loved every word! It has interesting characters that will charm and entertain you with every page. A handsome prince and an heiress find each other in spite of their titles. Family loyalty, love of country, and an inane sense caring will give them an HEA to be envied. Narrator is not great but the story is enhanced by the narration. Even with this narrator, I would still buy it again.

Story is ten stars

Rachelle Westerly has gone to London to visit with Eric, her brother the actor, when she goes to his premier she meets Prince Magnus of Vandorra who also wants to meet Eric and bring him back to Vandorra. Eric does not do any press or visits. Magnus follows Eric and finds out his secret and literally blackmails him to get him to accompany him home. Getting Rachelle was not expected. He held his arm out to her and she took it and he mistook her for someone else and she was caught up in the chaos. She is an independent woman who speaks her mind but she is also a loyal and loving sister who looks out for those around her. She was captivated by Magnus and when he gets her back home with him, and introduces her to his world, his country, his family, him, they are soon falling in love. This one was special and even a royal intrigue cannot tear them apart.

This was book 3 in the "Westerly Billionaire" series. Rachelle Westerly needs a break. After years of acting as the family peacekeeper, she’s finally ready to take a step back. Her brother has offered her the perfect escape. But on the very first day of her vacation, she steps onto a red carpet and straight into the arms of a real-life prince. Prince Magnus de Bartelebon of Vandorra always gets what he want. Rachelle is a school teacher who is tired of her families secrets and games and right now she. The Prince is in the US to convince hot shot movie star Eric Westerly to make an appearance at a children's hospital. While at the movie premiere Eric leaves with out speaking to either of them. This was a good read I liked both of these characters and all the busy bodies. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I also listened to this but on audio. I am looking forward to reading and listening to the next book.

A Good Prince

absolutely LOVED the book! it was amazing! The only complaint I have isn't towards the book at all, but to the Narrator. She sounds almost robotic so it kept throwing me off. I couldn't LIVE in the story because it didn't sound...... personal? I'm sorry. I dont know how else to word it. I just know that because of the robotic like pauses in between words, the story couldn't sweep me away...

Awesome!
