About this listen

A fight to the death.... Or at least that’s what it feels like when my twin sister and I are pitted against a dozen ruthless Fae females in a competition to marry the Spring Court prince. On live television.

If we can survive eight weeks on Royally Hitched, we’ll earn our freedom and a one-way ticket home to the human world. All we have to do is play nice with the mean girls, and stuck up ice prince. Oh, did I mention we shouldn’t even be here since we’re not actually Fae? Well, no one knows that - yet. As girls are eliminated and the competition heats up, things take a lethal turn. Someone wants the prince dead, and we all become targets. When he’s almost killed, unexpected feelings come over me. Panic. Pain. Sadness. The idea of losing him actually hurts. And what’s worse...my sister feels the same way.

The bachelor for supernaturals

This story takes place in the same world with some of the same characters as two other series by this author. You don’t have to have read those others series but it is more enjoyable if you do since you’ll know some of the history and characters better. I loved the twins so much they are very different from each other but they care about each other so much. Bella is so sweet and I hope to see tempest show more of herself and allow others to get close to her. And the prince i love him from the previous series and I’m glad to see him get his own series. Seems everyone on this show has some ulterior motive for their actions and there’s a lot of danger. Some leave the show not being chosen and some leave because they’ve died. It’s dangerous for the twins but they have each other and their magic to help them. I am curious to see what will happen next and ultimately who the prince will choose. The narrators do an amazing job with the characters and emotions.

Fantasy Fae dating reality show

I wish all reality shows had supernatural contestants.

I really enjoyed listening to this book. It has an interesting storyline with tons of mystery and intrigue. I can't wait to see what happens next!

This was the first book from G.K. DeRosa I have listened to. It was such a great escape from reality I can't wait to read her other series!

Fae world!

Royally Hitched is told in 3 different POVs. We follow Arabella and Tempest, who are twins, and we also follow Prince Drake.
Similar to The Bachelor tv series, we follow the main characters as the book progresses and watch how other contestants fight to get the attention of Drake. Drake is a complex character and I’m intrigued to learn more about him and his past. I found the twin sisters great. They are twins but completely different and unique characters. This isn’t your ordinary bachelor tv series that you may think. I enjoyed the world building that the author created and found it very interesting to see how the Fae world is in this universe. This series would be great for those who enjoy the Fae world, with a bit of romance and murder mystery.
The narrators did a wonderful job portraying the characters and they kept me intrigued with the storyline as well. Very easy to follow along and determine which character was speaking.

The Bachelor meets The Selection with a Fae Twist

This was my first book by G. K. DeRosa. Wow! I was blown away by the captivating story. I can't wait to read all of the other books (before and after this particular book).

I loved the twins from the get go. Arabella's kind heart and Tempest's tough girl attitude, they compliment each other. They support and encourage each other and truly have each other's backs.

Drake - I was drawn to him from the beginning. There is so much more to him than meets the eye. We get to see little insights of him throughout the book, but not too much so there is still some mystery to him.

I enjoyed the story line, the excitement and developing friendships. There was the plotting and backstabbing that would be expected during a dating competition. There was action and adventure and some surprises throughout the book.

I can't wait to read book 2 to see what happens next. especially with the unexpected twist at the end of this book.

The narrators did a great job throughout the book. Their voices brought the story to life!

Your Fav Fantasy Romance meets The Selection

Cute quick listen about a urban paranormal/fantasy "The Bachelor" type story with a darker twist. Great for younger teen/ YA listeners, a little juvenile for older fans.
