About this listen

Jackson Pierce, a discharged ex-military marine, is the new RCA at Clarkston, Michigan post office. He quickly moves up within the ranks, making a name for himself as the friendly neighborhood carrier. Delighted by the many gifts and thanks he receives, Jackson is determined to continue to please the residents of this small town. How far will he go to right the wrongs he’s witnessed? The line between right and wrong becomes blurred when a traumatic memory is unearthed by the actions of an adulterous husband.

Moving and shaking, ups and downs, twist and turns. This ride kept me hanging on with this team of mail carriers. Each character followed their assignment to bring it all together! Can't wait for more from this author!

A great psychological thriller with multiple killers. The plot thickened as the story went on.

Have you ever wondered what your Rural Route Driver does after hours or what's really going on in their heads? Being a military daughter I really enjoyed this book, the main character (Jackson) where do I begin. Charming with ladies and helpful on his route but that other side of Jackson whew Chile. The twists, plots and other characters will have you thinking you've figured it out but here comes another hanger. Each chapter left you wanting more it's very Suspenseful Scicotic Dramatic Real Creepy & Attention Holder/Grabber. This read will leave you with questions and your mouth hung open

What the WHAT!

You know you're into a good book when you actually understand and don't want the protagonist to get caught. Jackson was a man that was hurt by love. He truly believed in love and the sanctity of marriage and all it stood for. So he had strong emotions about people who he felt violated those beliefs. And then this book also hit on our veterans and what they have to do to survive. And Jackson definitely felt those pressures so he felt justified in doing what he had to do to get what he needed. This is an author I'm always interested in what wicked things she will come up with next.

I thoroughly enjoyed Rural Route 8. It’s fast paced, gritty and twisty. The story is original with both satisfying and head shaking resolutions. I couldn’t put it down and finished in one day. I’m looking forward to part 2.

What a ride!

I didn't finish this book. I found the misogyny disturbing and the sexual assault too much for me. I got through the first incident, but there appeared to be more to come.

This was okay. The narrator kept pausing in weird places so that threw me off. I don't know if I missed something but there were some loose ends. Maybe there's something in the next book...
