As usual Meghan March comes through with this romantic/suspense. This first book sets the foundation for a great continuing story. This story kept my attention from beginning to end. Meghan weaves a very detailed story that sucks you in and doesn't let got. The narrators were excellent. Great team for this effort.

Meghan March has done it again! I wasn’t too sure about the story itself because it is generally something that I don’t gravitate towards but need to be in the mood and search out but being Meghan March I knew that I could do no wrong. Lucky for me, I waited long enough that I don’t have to wait for the next book so off I go!

Fast-paced, edge of your seat exciting!
I absolutely loved Kiera and had that deep seated love to hate Mount!

He's ruthless and manipulative. Cold and calculated. Everything that makes him the King of New Orleans.

Kiera has a debt to pay thanks to her dead husband and Mount has come to collect.

I loved this book and the narrators was Amazing!!

I'm literally going to buy book 2 now as book 1 ends in a huge cliffhanger.

Totally worth the audio credit!!

One of Meghan's best - I devoured this audio!! Cannot wait for the continuation! This one is hot, hot, hot! Loved that Mount is dominant, aggressive and very taken with Kiera - they make for a very hot couple - he is bringing out the feisty in her and she is loving every minute of it, even though she wants to fight him every step of the way - hoping their dynamics stay this way in the next two books - these are two of the best narrators also, which always helps with audio - good job all the way around - well worth the credit!

If you’re looking for a taboo, sexy read, with a mafia feel, this book is for you! I expected an alpha a-hole, but I wasn’t expecting such a strong, sexy heroine and wet panties ;). The writing and narration are both spectacular!! I tend to avoid March’s books because 5-6 hours of reading isn’t worth a credit to me, but this book was great!!! I found it on sale, but plan to buy the second one! I’m still going to try to look for a better deal, but it’s so good that I’ll use a credit if I have to!

The whole book was great but the ending (cliff hanger) was amazing! Shows how truly talented the author is....I so did not see that turn coming!

The Beneath series was my absolute favorite and I was disappointed with this first book. It did not start to get good until the end and I agree with others there is no need to make this three books and charge us triple the price.
I also missed Sebastian and Andi, Sebastian has the perfect voice for an Alpha male and I did not feel that with Joe.
I think this book was to much on Keira side and not enough from Mount's point of view.
I will listen to the next two books, because I am curious to see the ending.
