About this listen

Science has proven that listening to a text just prior to sleep can significantly improve the retention of that text. The Sacred Sleep series was created primarily with that in mind. Read by 7-time number one Amazon best-selling narrator, Steve Cook, and featuring the text of the Revised Geneva Translation, Sacred Sleep is designed to help you get the rest you need while deepening your faith and drawing you closer to God. This groundbreaking sleep aid contains some of the most well-loved verses in Scripture, presented with soothing music to allow the water of the Word and worship to wash over you every time you experience them (1 Samuel 10:5-6).

What can I say, it's the Sermon on The Mount, which happens to be my favorite audio version of the Bible: The Revised Geneva Version, (RGV), & Steve Cook is a phenomenal voice actor!! In fact, if you enjoy the narration in this, I strongly suggest looking for & purchasing the entire Bible!! It's titled: The Holy Scriptures Found in The Revised Geneva Version of The Bible. Or, if you're not much interested in the OT, (which, as a Christian, you really should read &/or listen to), they do have just the New Testament as well!

The Geneva Bible, I believe, is the most accurate out of all the Bibles, because it's based off the Septuagint, & not a mix of several sources. But, there's much more involved in the translation process, than I care to get into in this review. The point is, I learned a lot from a podcast called The Dance of Life Podcast With Tudor Alexander, on YouTube!! Tudor's a friend, a life coach, podcast host, author, researcher, & he's also a documentary filmmaker! If you're into the truth, he's your man, as he teaches straight from the Bible, with no hidden gimmicks or BS! I joke with them & calling him the modern day John the Baptist, bringing folks out of deception, & preparing them for Jesus' return!

God's blessings!!

Excellent if you're looking to fall asleep, feeling the presence of Jesus!!

No idea about 75% of this book because without having to grip on to my rosary, I slept like a baby. A happy Christian baby. And I’m dying of Cancer.

I don’t know I fell asleep PEACEFULLY

Not ideal for sleep😎

Much more effective as a scripture teaching device, than as a sleep aid🧐

The tracks are short; the silence and re-emergence of sound is a bit jarring; the changing of keys with each track; the varying of the volume between tracks; none of these, are ideal for sleep👨🏻‍🎓
