About this listen

"This is the story," the old man began, "of Santa's Naughty List. There are seven names on it. There will never be another one." More than anything, Colin wants to be good, but everyone in his town thinks he's a bad kid.

When a fierce storm threatens to destroy his town, Colin hatches a plan to save it. Will his best idea instead be his worst? Will it be the last Christmas for his town?

And is the friendly shopkeeper actually Santa Claus? Follow the adventure of Colin the orphan and learn the real truth behind the naughty list and why a lump of coal just might be the best Christmas present ever.

What a wonderful description of what the naughty list truly is. It gives children a lot of self-confidence when somebody has misunderstood their true actions. It’s a loving story for children and adults. You can just envision the old man sitting and telling it to the children of Naught. Had a little bit of foreshadowing here and there, but what book doesn’t have that. This book is just so tender and sweet and full of Christmas. I especially loved in the end the dedication to his first girlfriend and wife and their children.

Adorable

Santa and the Children of Naught is an original, clever and inspiring new Christmas story. Our family of five chromecast it onto the TV then sat around the living room Christmas tree listening to it with some popcorn and hot chocolate. The length is less than most movies and the memories we made are far more lasting and precious than watching a movie. If you've ever wondered why someone as good as Santa would ever create something as terrible as a list of naughty children, then this is a story you must know. Doing that with your family listening to the audio book makes it all the better.

Great family time activity
