Loved the story. Loved the narrator.

This was the first book I've listened to by Maeve Binchy and narration by Barbara Caruso. The book and the narrator were fabulous! The characters were so likeable and Ms. Caruso brought out the wonderful Irish accent that was needed for this book. Can't wait to read more from Ms. Binchy and listen to more from Ms. Caruso.

Narration could have been better. Lacks inflection

Narrator lacks inflections. Questions exclamations etc all sound the same. Love Maeve Binchy! Amazing story teller

Surprising

I needed a change after quite a few mysteries/thrillers and thought I'd give this a try. I was pleasantly surprised how enjoyable it was. The characters were all very likeable, the story kept your interest and, of course, I love anything Irish. The ending wasn't what I would have written but you can't have everything.

Lovely!

As always, Maeve Binchy delivers a wonderful story with believable and sympathetic characters - and even a few you love to hate. And I’m always a fan of a pretty ending.
