Publisher's summary

In this stunning audiobook from number one New York Times best-selling author Rosamunde Pilcher, a woman assumes her sister’s identity for what she believes to be part of a silly game - only to pay the price for her sins....

It seemed such an innocent deception. All Flora Waring had to do was play the part of Rose, her long-lost twin, for one weekend and meet the family of Rose’s fiancé. But when Flora is introduced to the Armstrong family, she realizes that she has inherited the secret scandal Rose created five years before...and left wounds that turn the man Flora loves against her.

Under Gemini will captivate listeners from beginning to end.

Wonderful story

As always Rosamunde Pilchers characters became so real to me and I adored them all. The description of the Scottish seaside made the story come alive.
The narration was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this story. It was over far to quickly!

The warm blanket effect.

This book was the equivalent of being in bed snuggled in a blanket while the rain and wind create a rhythm on the window. The characters provide comfort and security while surrounded by the robust and dramatic scottish background. As usual, I feel bereft leaving this book behind.

Sweet Story

I love Rosalind Pilcher and all her novels. This one is a sweet and predictable story but worth the read. Even though the heroine makes frustratingly bad choices (to enhance the plot I’m sure) I liked the book anyway.

Another great Rosamunde Pilcher novel

I loved this book. Excellent character development and a story that gripped me from the start. I always hate it when Pilcher's novels end.

Predictable

More of a Hallmark movie plot than what I have come to love and expect from Rosamunde Pilcher.

Classic 70’s romance. Light and sweet. Not deep. The writing is lovely and the characters lovable.

All that being said it is not about a woman achieving and growing as her own self. But a rather traditional tale of a woman finding herself in a traditional relationship. A bit narrow in that regard. But still a gentle pleasing story of its genre.

most wonderful escape!!

I had read "under Gemini" many years ago and loved it then so I felt that it would be an enjoyable listen. However I didn't realize how enchanted and engrossed I would be by it. Lucy Paterson narration is superb. When listening I was in the changing weather of Scotland, riding the ups and downs of the wild adventure that Flora had gotten herself into. This truly was a listening treasure!!!
