About this listen

Season of Storms: Booktrack Edition adds an immersive musical soundtrack to your audiobook listening experience! *

Before he was the guardian of Ciri, the child of destiny, Geralt of Rivia was a legendary swordsman. Join the Witcher as he undertakes a deadly mission in this stand-alone adventure set in the Andrzej Sapkowki’s groundbreaking epic fantasy world that inspired the hit Netflix show and the blockbuster video games.

Geralt of Rivia is a Witcher, one of the few capable of hunting the monsters that prey on humanity. He uses magical signs, potions, and the pride of every Witcher—two swords, steel and silver.

But a contract has gone wrong, and Geralt finds himself without his signature weapons. Now he needs them back, because sorcerers are scheming, and across the world clouds are gathering.

The season of storms is coming. . .

*Booktrack is an immersive format that pairs traditional audiobook narration to complementary music. The tempo and rhythm of the score are in perfect harmony with the action and characters throughout the audiobook. Gently playing in the background, the music never overpowers or distracts from the narration, so listeners can enjoy every minute. When you purchase this Booktrack edition, you receive the exact narration as the traditional audiobook available, with the addition of music throughout.

overall great book.... sad that at this time it's the last...... I feel empty now that it's done.

Great book.. wish it would never end.

This was a great prequel and connection to other Witcher books. I like the little nuggets they add in there that make you recall the other stories. Really interesting conflicts and storytelling. I wish there were more books!

Great story- I want more Witcher books!

If you enjoyed the novels, this is well worth the read. Don't read it until you've finished the final novel though as there are great surprises in store for a reader in that case that won't make much sense otherwise, I suspect.

Incredible Finish

Great to see them together for practically the entire book unlike the rest of the series

I love every single Witcher book. The soundtrack audio with this one is pretty good. I swear, after listening to this one it makes me wanna start all over again.

Never want it to end

This was not my favorite Witcher book. I found it hard to follow along with how it's told and there was a lot of unessary details put in that did not add anything to the story.

Had some issues

I have listened to many booktrack audiobooks and sadly this one reeks of short-term production. Repetitive music, out of place instruments, and poor volume mixing in many places is often distracting to the otherwise wonderful performance of Peter Kenny.

The mix of the soundtrack was poorly done

You can really tell this was written far after the original series ended. The whole book is a fetch quest that has little to no impact on the wider story. There is some lore that's interesting, but otherwise this is a skippable second end to the series.
