Author Has Practical Strategies Not Just "Tips"

What did you love best about Sell Local, Think Global?

What I liked was that the author didn't treat this like one long blog post with "strate-gettes". She really took her time to outline some soup to nuts tactics that a local business could employ. What was evident is that she cares about small businesses without feeling sorry for them. Businesses need strategies over sympathy.

What other book might you compare Sell Local, Think Global to and why?

To some degree, it picked up where Locavesting left off. It seems that there is a movement afoot in America to "honor" small businesses and celebrate them. We have Shark Tank and all of the "Fix-It" Reality shows. But not too many of them get into what it takes to find good customers and get them to the location. This one does.

What about Lyndsay Vitale’s performance did you like?

The reader was invisible. That's what I like. She had the right tone..If I want her to inject personality, I'll get a drama. This reader got it right.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I listened to most of it while at the Gym. It was good listening. Then after a while I started bringing a note book so I could take notes as soon as I got into my car. Good solid content.

Any additional comments?

Nope...just really enjoyed it.
