Publisher's summary

What does a fallen angel, a vampire, and a sexy bodyguard have in common?

They’re the carriers of the seven deadly sins - and it’s my job to conquer them.

I don’t take shit from anybody, and that’s what has gotten me through life so far. My mother’s dead. My brother struck a deal with the Incubus King that gets me in all sorts of trouble, and my dreams are plagued by a black fog of death that’s determined to hunt me down.

Seems like destiny has finally caught up with me, and she’s a bitch.

If I want to survive what’s coming next, I’m going to have to face this darkness I’ve been running from all my life. Hell isn’t a terror locked in my dreams. It’s real, and I’m going to need to find my mates to conquer it, starting with the sin of lust - my favorite.

Turns out being the long-lost Queen of Hell has its perks.

Seven Sins is a complete three-book fast-burn paranormal reverse harem collection ready to be devoured. Content includes violence, mature sexual scenes, F/F, F/F/M, F/M...you get the idea. (Sonya’s a succubus, what can I say?)

Not too bad...

The narrator wasn't bad, however, she could have put a little bit more emotion into the storytelling. I felt like it was almost monotone at times. The actual story itself though was captivating. Very different from any others that I have read recently. Overall a great book!

Meh

The storyline was hard to follow. Weird gaps that weren't explained until later. Not really my cup of tea.

Insane Adventures

This collection only got better as I listened. At first I wasn’t sure how much I was going to like it and at times I got really upset for the characters and what they went through. The character development was amazing from where the MCs were in the beginning versus the end. The depth and range of emotions that eventually came out surprised me by the end.

The first book made me so upset with how Sarah treated Sonya and made her feel so bad for being what she is. Book 2 really picked up and book 3 came out of nowhere with how awesome it is. The journey that the MCs go on, separate and together, tie together so well

The narrator has the perfect husky voice for narrating a book where the main character is a succubus.

Avid reader struggled with book

It wasn’t a bad book by any means and it had a lot of potential but I struggled to stay focused and it didn’t grab me like most books I read. I listen to audible 150 books a year easily and don’t bother with books under 10 hours long. I love reverse harem and paranormal romance. Nothing turned my nose up or turned me away but it was easy to pause it and do something else or fall asleep with it going and having to go back and relisten to several chapters.

A fast-paced, addictive read...

Having read and reviewed each title contained in this set, I’ll leave those individual reviews here.

***** Book One: Succubus Sins*****

“Dark has chased me all my life.” Thorn took a risk with that opening line; if she couldn’t keep the book just as intriguing from there, it’d fall flat. It does not disappoint! The writing is brilliant and the descriptives are beautiful, dark and fascinating.

I discovered Thorn when I read ‘Chasing Fate’ and I knew then I’d need to read all she has to offer. Even coming into it with that attitude, I’m not let down … and I’m easily let down / notoriously hard to please. 😏 This book though - let me tell you:

Having gone outside late at night, I didn’t see the lights, traffic, passersby, wildlife, etc. All I could see was the dark alley behind a bar in Seattle… the setting of the last scene I’d read before going out. I wondered what everyone was up to next and for hours, until this book and I met again, it was all I could think of and all I saw. And I was only a few percent of the way in!

That really kept up throughout the book. It does end on a cliffhanger but the next book is available now so that’s no big deal. Really fun, addictive read.

This book gripped me from the start and didn’t let go…

Editing/Proofing:
Well done, seems professional as only a couple typos noted.

Character development:
Thorn does a good job here; having read a little bit of her work prior to this book, the characters I’ve already been exposed to are on point. All characters have individual voices and personalities, something not everyone seems able to pull off.

Formatting:
Super fun and very pretty. This book is definitely easy on the eyes.

Cover:
Stunning. Looks professional and fits the content.

4 stars.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

*****Book Two: Siren Sins*****

After being completely hooked into this world in book 1, ‘Succubus Sins’, I of course needed to read on. Book 2 picks up right where book 1 left off and keeps on with the all-absorbing, action-and-drama-packed atmosphere. This trilogy is a drug and I expect I’ll re-read it many times.

There are some really interesting supernaturals in this one, as well as some interesting twists on myths and legends, and I can’t help but appreciate the author and feel a need to consume everything else she’s written (which I’m working on!).

Character development is on point, continuity seems perfect and before I knew it, I was into book 3; this series is never dull!

I enjoyed traveling along with Sarah for a bit, the family drama, the mate drama, and the mystery. Sonya’s still trying to figure her s--- out and I’m just along for the ride, enjoying every minute. Too busy devouring all the action to bother trying to make predictions, which is nice.

Editing-wise, book is clean, free of distractions.
Formatting: this book is absolutely gorgeous!

Wishing there was more like this out there!

*****Book Three: Vampire Sins*****

Once again, picks up right where the previous book left off, never missing a beat. So glad the whole series is available for me to binge on.

This installment is a swirling ball of chaos; Sonya and her mates sort of hop from one dangerous, life-altering situation to the next, over and over again. They’ve got lots to accomplish, and as it involves the destinies of several of them—and Lilith, as it happens—it’s fun to read along and see the pieces come together.

Thorn weaved a comlex, epic plot and no one can accuse her of being one of those RH authors who just writes sex parties. (Speaking of sex, every single time anything sexual occurs there is actually a plot-related reason behind it. Thorn uses sex scenes to aid in telling the story, rather than many who do the opposite.) This trilogy packs depth, so much action and adventure, epic love, corruption, danger … and that’s just to name a few.

The more I read into ‘Vampire Sins’, the more I couldn’t wait to dive into ‘Royal Covens’, the next trilogy in the Blood Stone world. It’ll also leave you wanting Lily’s series, ‘Fortune Academy’ if you haven’t already read it—and I strongly suggest you do read them all, as this world only gets more fun.

They also might just make you think—Thorn has a way of painting scenarios where even the worst villains seem worthy and capable of redemption. The mythology and Christianity tie-ins are brilliantly done; if you’ve discovered this author, you’ll never have time to be bored again.

Audio:
Despite having read these books, I also listened to the audio, as they were absolutely good enough to enjoy multiple times.
The narration, voices, delivery/performance and overall quality are absolutely perfect.

Great overall

Love the books. Wish there was a little more character development in the males but good overall. One thing…the word glower is used entirely too much.

Cool new ideas, poor story overall

DNF - got near the end but just don’t want to spend anymore time on this. Usually I devour stories, feel inspired and excited by their world and characters. This I have been pushing to finish, trying to like because there are some unique interesting aspects, but I just don’t enjoy it enough. Took a chance since I’m usually easily entertained…Not this one.
