About this listen

Three dangerous warriors each hold a piece of my soul. I won't let them claim my heart, too.

My people are dying.

Our god has abandoned us, leaving us starving and weak. In a desperate attempt to save those I love, I offer up the ultimate sacrifice to our neglectful god.

Myself.

He accepts my offering, and I forfeit my life. But when I arrive in the afterworld, a rival god who despises mine binds my soul to three beautiful, terrifying men - powerful beings he calls his messengers.

Callum, Echo, and Paris.

I'm little more than an annoyance to them, a lost soul their master has foisted upon them.

Still, the bond between us draws me toward them constantly, like a lodestone finding true north, and the more time I spend with these enigmatic men, the more confused my feelings become.

I hate them. I want them. I fear them. I need them.

But no matter what happens, I won't let myself love them.

This audio boxed set contains the complete Her Soulkeepers series, a reverse harem fantasy romance. All three books are included in one low-priced volume!

I really enjoyed this book. I didn't know at first if I would get into it or not but it didn't take long until I started to enjoy the storyline. The characters and worlds had very good detail and I enjoyed how they matured throughout the book, especially the messengers. It turned out much different than what was expected and I loved the ending. I love RH books. This was probably the least steamy RH that I've listened to or read, but it was enjoyable. The performance was wonderful. She did a great job switching from character to character.

very good listen

But kind of lost its momentum for me. I made it to about Chapter 7 of Book #3 before I started shopping around to find my next listen. I DID end up making it through the whole series… though I honestly think it could’ve been condensed down to one single book for all that actually happened. Maybe split into parts (“Part One, Part Two, etc”) but it’s very “slow-burn and fizzle” for such a unique, change-life-as-they-know-it kind of plot.

Starts out so great…

I wish I had looked at some of the reviews first. I love a good romance and even the occasional erotica. This just didn’t hit right for me. The heroine is too quick to accept miss treatment and the love and lust is too much. Idk it’s a no for me.

I should have looked at some of the reviews first.

I enjoyed the world and the story over all. It was an adjustment learing the language of the world since is was a censored version of English. Over all the character development is great.

Great new world

when she has the sex dream about all 3 messengers. I am more surprised and glad that they made it possible to find love and keep love in the afterlife even after you died and moved on with that face of your life and now are living your afterlife it's nice to imagine that you will still be able to love and live life for yourself as long as you are a decent person

love in the afterlife?

to long. Overly descriptive of everything. could have been just one book. no much inflection

slow paced

While the story itself is good and could stand alone, the romance is iffy. I don’t think the work cock was uttered until the last half hour. Scenes are described as two men “touching” her everywhere but nothing specific; lots of kissing on the upper lips though. The third man is getting busy but even that isn’t very passionate. Most scenes seem like exhibition rather than truly shared, and the author seems determined to make this as PG as possible.

How do you write “clean” RH?

This was a good series! You follow Sage and her messengers across the 3 realms trying to defeat the gods! It had all the typical RH tropes. Girl starts out normal then turns into this epic badass by the end. One of the three men hate her for a while until they love her. Big fight in the end. One on one sexy moments until the big scene where they are finally all together. The sex though....hmmmm.... Very rural scenes in the wilderness so not much maneuverability I guess. No MM play at all, they do scenes together but they always only touch the female main character.

My number one complaint with the three book series is the POV is ONLY from Sage! I really wanted/needed the guys perspective!!!! So in the end it was okay but I found it lacking anything special.

Undecided
