About this listen

Technology and insanity combine to create a very bad week for the United States and the world. In this unputdownable thriller from breakout author Jerry Hatchett, tech celebrity Matt Decker is on top of the world until his flagship creation, the system that runs the U.S. power grid, suffers a crippling cyber attack. Chaos follows as a ruthless maniac sets out to create his own version of Revelation's battle of Armageddon. And he's making it personal as he blames Decker for the escalating disasters that stretch from New York to Israel to the "sulfurous scarps of hell."

Captivating

Would you consider the audio edition of Seven Unholy Days to be better than the print version?

I believe the both are equally entertaining.

What other book might you compare Seven Unholy Days to and why?

I'd compare it to Armageddon....it had me at the edge of my seat and I listened to the entire book in one day. It was very exciting.

Have you listened to any of William L. Salyers’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No this is the first time I listen to W.L. Salyer, but I have to say he did an excellent job authenticating the pilots, robotic voice, and he was consistent with all the characters voices.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

At the risk of soundling corny, America needs you...

Exceptional performance by William L. Salyers

A fast moving story with high tech solutions. The challenge is to outsmart an equally brilliant megalomaniac who is determined to pit his wits against Matt Decker. The battle is epic with many twists that will keep you guessing. I really enjoyed this book by author Jerry Hatchett.
I highly recommend the Audible version with an exceptional performance by the very talented William L. Salyers.

Got better

I took a while to warm up to the storyline. Somewhere along the way they develop as characters and pull you end. It wasn't horrible but I can't rave about it either.

Soooo Soooo Good!!!

William Salyers was the perfect pick to narrate this amazing story!!! It's soooo, soooo good!! Lots of action, fast timing, biblical understanding and miracles. Matthew Decker is a computer genius who recognizes glitches in a system he created to keep everything on the grid. When he goes to investigate, literally everything goes crazy. A multi-billionaire technical wizard has decided to enact his own version of Revelation chapters 6-8 with Decker as his personally targeted vendetta challenge. Decker's willful blindness towards Scripture, working with believers and deceivers, ends up becoming a truly eye opening experience! Wow!!

Nice ...

Like it a lot , take it as a 100% fiction do not try to compare it to reality in any aspects as it got far too many flaws

Very entertaining

the storyline was very good except for the fawning over the blonde chick and the out of this world knowledge of the protagonist. Also, the ending with the explanation Abdul gave was lame. Other than these points the story was pretty good.
