Publisher's summary

Serious men don’t eat red Popsicles.

Brett Hunter’s life isn’t unicorns and rainbows, and it sure isn’t sparkles. He’s a businessman, a disciplined man, a money man, and if he ever believed in magic, it was a long time ago. He’s not a hero, and he doesn't play one on TV. Oh, and he really doesn't like the water.

What’s he doing, then, on an Australian beach in a custom-made Italian suit, up to his waist in the waves and helping a red-haired mermaid save the day?

No matter how crazy his life gets, not being in control isn’t an option, and neither is veering from his path or falling for mermaids. Also, serious men don’t eat red Popsicles.

The best yet!

Loved Brett and Willow’s story. It was full of so much adventure: sharks, dolphins, hot air balloon, accidents, food poisoning, broken bones, scheming mistresses, a chef and a billionaire. What more could you want? Never a dull moment. And to top it all off the best romance ever. Also props to Emma Wilder as narrator. I’m an avid listener to all of Rosalind James’ books and Ms Wilder is my absolute fave. Spot on!!! Lol I loved it so much I’m ready to listen again.

Would be a sin not to listen to this book

Well that would be my favourite in this series so far.
Excitement and drama in the first first few pages and a story to keep us guessing throughout the book.
Ms James’s usual steam between her lead characters and her ability to make you feel like you’ve travelled to the destinations in her books. I loved Dave the driver, really hope he gets his own story. Loved the footy references as well
Spoiler
Heads up though, Dave’s footy team didn’t win the Grand final.
Ms James is an automatic purchase for me.
I received a free copy of this book in return for my honest opinion, this opinion is my own and I was not compensated in any way.

Brett and Willow

My original review for the story follows, but first, my review of the narration: Emma Wilder does a great job narrating the audiobook. I enjoy her ability to create the characters with unique voices. She is superb at switching from an American accent to New Zealand and back again. Such a treat to listen to.

I really like this series, a lot! I enjoyed Guilty as Sin and Tempting as Sin, but I could not imagine Sexy as Sin. Brett Hunter just did not seem like a real hero when we met him, but in this book he seems better than a hero. He is a hero with foibles, fears, and sometimes just plain bad luck. He is so much more than I expected. And Willow, well she is independent, adventurous, and definitely her own person, yet not. Brett and Willow have differences, lots of them, but they compliment each other well. And Author Rosalind James can sure tell a good story. I give this one five stars. The characters are well-developed, the emotions are plentiful, and the locations are special. I am looking forward to more!

Loved the book, LOVED the narration

I absolutely loved Brett and Willow immediately I starting reading the book. I was so excited to listen to the audiobook because Emma Wilder does such a fantastic job narrating Rosalind James’s books. She did not disappoint at all! She brought two amazingly well written characters to life. The combination of Rosalind James’s well written characters and Emma Wilder’s narration makes for a fantastic listen. I truly recommend this as a listen for someone who either doesn’t have the time to read or wants to read as well as listen!

Sweet and Sexy

No matter how crazy his life gets, not being in control isn’t an option, and neither is veering from his path or falling for mermaids.

Just from looking at the synopsis you know that Rosalind James created a great book. Brett was a secondary character is the other Sinful books and was hoping Ms. James would create a story for just him. She did disappointment!
I loved listening about Brett and Willow; She was able to bring him out of his suits and not to be so disciplined when it comes to work. This story has everything: handsome sexy hero; strong, fun heroine who sees the best in everything; sweet romance and human drama; humor, tears, and incredible settings.

This is a fabulous story that stands on its own, but if you start with this one, you'll want to go back and listen to the rest of the series, too. Then listen to everything else Rosalind has written.
This story can be read as a standalone, but it is best to read the rest of the series.

This story is like a rainbow as the sun reappears!

Finally, Brett gets his story and finds someone to love who loves him back! Brett appeared in the prior two books of this series (but you don't have to have read them to enjoy this one) and now gets his own story. This is the best one yet. Brett is a well-off businessman from Sinful, Montana who meets Willow (who had a very minor appearance in the earlier books) on a beach in Australia while there for a short business trip. She's a chef newly partnered in a local catering firm bringing young and fresh to the food. She's all rainbows and unicorns on the surface, but has had a challenging life til this point. Brett, likewise, has had some big losses.
The food descriptions are mouth-watering and the descriptions of Byrony Bay, especially Brett's rental house, make you want to go there on your next vacation and enjoy food cooked by Willow. But how does it work out when their businesses keep them in their own countries and there are so many hours of travel inbetween? That's what Brett and Willow have to work out as well as a big shark scare and treachery.
Emma Wilder did a wonderful job narrating this book. I especially appreciated how nasty she made the voice of Willow's partner Amanda.
Brett and Willow are so unalike, but fit together so well. The sun really does come out for them at last. This is my new favorite out of all of Rosalind James's books!
I had already purchased a copy of the ebook, and received a free copy of this audio book in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.

Super Narration!

The different voices and accents made this story very enjoyable for listening. The story itself was interesting, very descriptive and explored the characters’ emotions in surprisingly complicated detail.

Wonerful

Rosalind James never ever disppoints me. I've read all of her books and listened to all of her audiobooks. Sexy as Sin is book 3 in the Sinful Montana series, but it definately could be a stand alone book. There are charecters fron the other 2 books but if you didn't know the stories you would never know. That's what I love about her series books. They could be all stand alone, but so much better when you read them all. Brett and Willow are so different yet the similarities are what brings them together. I like how they stay with each other through both of their issues that come up. As far as Emma Wilder is concerned I don't think anyone could do a better job. She does the different acents and men's voices so good sometime I forget there's only 1 narrater.
