About this listen

Danger inspires fierce passion when a serial killer threatens Chicago's Ferraro crime family in this novel in Christine Feehan's New York Times best-selling series.

Vittorio Ferraro is a man whose family loyalty knows no bounds. He would die for his siblings and the people they love, but what he really wants is to start a family of his own. Deep down, Vittorio has always known finding a woman who could ride shadows would be nearly impossible, let alone one who could accept his particular needs, but he never expected to find her in the middle of a kidnapping....

Grace Murphy has always been drawn to Vittorio Ferraro - or at least to the billionaire's public bad-boy persona. Now that she's under his protection and the sole focus of his intense caring, she can't help wanting to get as close to him as possible.

But Grace knows her presence is putting the entire Ferraro family in danger. Her monster of a brother will never let her go, but Vittorio has no intention of losing the woman whose shadow matches his own....

Pleasantly Surpriswd

I've listened to each book in this series and thought this story sounded like nothing new. But the villain proved me wrong. Very interesting story; another professional performance.

Love it!

Christine never disappoints! She had me from the first word! The new series is so edgy. I absolutely loved this book.

A Good Warrior

This was book 4 in the "Shadow Riders" series. Vittorio Ferraro is a man whose family loyalty knows no bounds. He would die for his siblings and the people they love, but what he really wants is to start a family of his own. Deep down, Vittorio has always known finding a woman who could ride shadows would be nearly impossible let alone one who could accept his particular needs and he never expected to find her in the middle of a kidnapping. Vittorio wants what his brothers have. Grace Murphy finds herself being kidnapped and used by her foster brother Hayden he wants to use her to clear a gambling debt. This book grabbed me from the beginning. I love reading and listening to this series. Grace has had to protect herself living in foster care and from Hayden who has taken her kindness for weakness. I loved that Vittorio wanted to take care of her and she needed to let go. I love how the family takes care of one another. I didn't like Hayden he is a user and he threatened the wrong family. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling I also liked the narration. I am looking forward to reading or listening to the next book in this series.

frangione did better on passion and voices than he did on ghostwalker series by the same author.

Breath Teasingly GOOOD

This has to be the best nook in the series. I always thought nothing could rival Stefano story. but some how Christine managed to go outside of her comfort zone for this one. This book had me up all night, I couldn't stop listening. it felt so real it was uncanny!

Another epic tale with an epic performance!

Although the overall theme, of this book, is similar with the two previous, of this series, I really enjoyed it. You get a glimpse of the couples from the first three couples, along with the rest of the family. This couple has more of a D/s relationship than the previous three but, it’s not over the top! If you enjoyed the rest of the series, you’ll enjoy this book too!

Jim Frangione has another stellar performance. He even speaks the Italian as if it is his first language; considering his sir name, perhaps it is!
