About this listen

Sheena Andrews is saved, sanctified, and loves the Lord to the best of her ability. Her parents are avid church-goers who raised her in a strictly Christian environment. Sheena adhered to their strict upbringing until her senior year in high school, when she meets Derek Collins.

Derek was also raised in a Christian environment, but believes that some of the Christian beliefs - such as pre-marital sex - should be relaxed. The couple dates through their first two years of college until an unfortunate accident causes Derek to lose his life. After Derek’s death, Sheena’s life spirals downhill at a rapid pace.

Now that her boyfriend is dead, Jason Grey wants to make Sheena his wife someday. The only problem is his present girlfriend, Ruby. She has serious control issues, and she has no intentions of letting him go.

Sheena begins to have nightmares about Jason being in danger. The dreams suggest that she will be the person inflicting the harm. Is Sheena suppressing the dark, evil characteristics revealed in the dream? Is she capable of committing a heinous act against her beliefs - and more importantly, against God, whom she seeks with all of her strength to please?

This book was written well. It was rather refreshing and inspiring. This book had realistic relationships problems. I like the idea of quoting Bible scripture’s. All the children were growing up in two parent homes. Men playing active roles in their children lives. Children behaving like children.

I really enjoyed this book! The narrator was great as well she makes the book come alive! Although Sheena made me upset I'm glad The Most High opened her heart!

Amazing

This book was so good. I love how they show us how to pray in every situation. It gives scripture lessons throughout the story. It’s doesn’t seem like a Christian book that’s boom in your face. It deals with every day life and how to include God in our daily lives and about forgiveness.

Started off slow.

I love the concept of the book. It kept me interested from beginning to end, but Sheena was starting to get in my nerves. I understood the betrayal. but you can't be a Godly woman and say you forgive someone. and continue to bring it up and be mean and ungrateful. But overall the book was awesome.

Mary has done it again. I love the way that she incorporates God in the story. It is obvious that she’s a believer. Many lessons were taught, and I here for it.

Great read

I enjoyed this book. Although it was long in my opinion it truly depicted a husband and wife in conflict. The author captured the turmoil and pain when dealing with infidelity. You can't rush a storyline like this one. Some reviews took issue with so many scriptures. I'm a believer so the Word of God will never be too much. I booked marked some scriptures as they anointed me. The narration was good, minor mistakes and weird expressions that didn't match at times but not to the point of frustration. A good read.

Good...but long as ever!

The narrator had good vocal variety with the different characters but she over enunciated which made her sound forced and took away from the story. In times her reading was choppy. The story itself was good but unnecessarily long because it dragged some scenes out and conversations being what they needed to be.

Too much
