This is one of the most powerful books that I read today. It shows God moving in the now world versus the world of the past. It's in lightning and refreshing and restore faith and trust in God. If we be honest with ourselves, we recognize that this world is in Turmoil and the faith of the world and many of faithful has waxed cold. We must rebuild the conversation the hearts and souls must have with God in prayer. We must seek his direction and listen for his answer and putting to death our own contrary plans. Prayer is that key.

I am not sure how non-Christians will see this story, but for the Christian it gives a clear message to be honest in your profession of faith. It clearly portrays how the black church operates in the lives of its members, when it adheres unapologetically to the scriptures /Bible. It was another gift from God for me. in line with The Shack and Eve, books that bring to the forefront, the purpose of Christian faith. "Be who you say you is" came clear, when mother Clare served her guest lukewarm coffee while hers was nice & hot. I resisted listening to this book, when it 1st came out. But God just had me waiting until I really needed to read it and was ready to receive the lesson , so much for acts of rebellion.

I and a big fan of Chris Fabry's work especially when he does the reading as well as the writing. This book is a good book for anyone who has ever asked themselves "can this marriage be saved." The concept is real, the writing is great and the performance is flawless.
