They tried to intimidate me. They tried to get me expelled. They tried to bring me to my knees. They failed.
The angelic princes betrayed me, and now, it’s time for this little succubus to get her revenge. My secret’s been exposed, but I’m not leaving Seraphim Academy until I rescue my brother. I know where he is, and I’ll do whatever it takes to bring him back - alive. Even if it means going up against the secret society that uses murder and blackmail to control things from the shadows.
They may be powerful and ancient, but I’ve infiltrated their ranks, and I’m not afraid of them. Especially with my sexy - and totally off-limits - professor helping me take the society down. I might even get the angelic princes to help me, too, if they can behave this time.
But I’ll have to be careful, because now that the angels and demons know I exist, they both want to control me - or they want me dead.
Join Olivia at her second year at Seraphim Academy, a college-age reverse harem romance with plenty of heat!

THE DEMONS ARE FAR FROM DEMONIC.
OLD HATRED AND ANCIENT BIGOTRY RUNS DEEP AND THE WAR IN HEAVEN HAS COME TO EARTH.
Seraphim Academy in real life would be populated mostly by rich white super conservatives, all decsended from southern slave owners with a few decent people thrown in. There's a fanatical cult clearly modeled on KKK/Neo Nazi style hate group that wants to reignite the war! It's an open secret this cult exists and yet nobody has simply shut it down. In fact the only people trying to stop it are Cassiel (Lucifer's Spy) and Our Hero.
IT does an excellent job of portraying bigotry as simply accepted as our heroine puts up with constant fear and hate for simply Not being one of them. Never do we see any of the angels properly punished or disciplined for being openly and unfairly vindictive and this really shows how schools often don't deal with or openly encourage discrimination.
The majority of angels are absolutely hipocritical with a few exceptions like Cassiel (who is a half angel anyways). The Princes get away with basically anything and the teachers never so much as lift a finger to stop them despite EVERYBODY knowing that they're complete assholes.
And now there is a human anti-supernatural group commuting greusome murders on campus.
An excellent portrayal of race hatred

The female narrator brings Liv and the guys to life pretty well and I enjoy her. The male narrator reads lines sometimes in a way that makes it seem so awkward. While I don't exactly expect the males to talk the way he does (in my head) it doesn't detract from the scenes.
Read the whole thing in a day. I anticipate the last one will be the same!
sexy and fun

In the second installment, Liz, already ousted as half angel/ half succubus, is on a mission. Her mission is to find her brother at any cost. And she has the help of the princes, her roommate, and her professor. And she discovers that the secret group she's been inducted to has a very different and dark agenda than what she originally thought.
This book was even more amazing on audible. The same narrators from the first book were used in this one and I still believe they did an excellent job.
I absolutely, positively, and passionately recommend this audible book and series!!! It does not disappoint! Anyone who gave this book less than 5 stars is nuts!!!
I recieved an audible ARC for my honest review.
This series keeps getting better and better!!!
