Not happy...

What disappointed you about Sinister?

From the very beginning this story skipped and buffered. Then I realized that I could hear people talking in the background while David C. Fischer was reading. You can hear errant noises and conversations throughout and the final straw was the SCHOOL BUS or GARBAGE TRUCK (or other large, industrial vehicle) WITH THE SQUEALING, SQUEAKY BRAKES that you can hear coming to a stop in the background as the story is being read. This is horrible.

Would you be willing to try another book from Billie Sue Mosiman? Why or why not?

Yes. The author is not my problem. The quality of the recording is my problem.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

He didnt unless he was one of the ones talking in the backgroud or unless it was him squealing the brakes on the vehicle...again in the background as he read.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Sinister?

ALL OF THE EXTRA, IRRELEVANT TALKING AND BACKGROUND NOISE!

Any additional comments?

They need a new narrator.

Would you try another book from Billie Sue Mosiman and/or David C Fischer?

No.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narrator just didn't have any expression to his voice. It was like listening to a robot.

Any additional comments?

The stories were up and down in craftsmanship, but the ok ones would have been good with a decent narrator and the not so good ones, at least salvagable. Terrible narration.

Stories ok as far as they go

What robs this book of a 5 star rating from me is the feeling that many stories left me with the feeling the author either forgot to finish writing their story or simply ran out of plot line. To be hones there were at least 5 stories really well done & kept my full attention but for most of the remainder stories, the end came so abruptly I felt quite the jolt when I realised the narrator moved onto the next story.
