Richard Feynman

The original lectures delivered by the famous physicist Richard Feynman himself - his voice and accent make it seem as though Ralph Kramden (Jackie Gleason) is teaching Physics!

Love the energy in the Live recordings!

Yes, the audio of the first lecture is a little rough, but the subsequent lectures are nice and clear. The energy and passion really comes through. fantastic!

Rare Treat

Difficult without a blackboard and chalk. Just use your imagination. There are no scientists like Feynman today. Today science is weaponized for political reasons. Grants are politicized. Tenures are politicized. Feynman did things his own way. I wish I had Feynman here today to talk about Climate Change. I don't trust anyone. I would trust him.

From the lips of a genius

Quite an experience to hear these lectures by Feynman in his own voice. Imagine a Nobel laureate giving an intro to physics course. Only he would’ve done that.

Technical difficulties made the first lecture difficult to hear, but that’s no one’s fault. The remainder are at times difficult to follow, having only the audio, but it’s still possible to clean some wonderful nuggets.

Worth the effort to listen.

Excellent - Audio by Richard Feynman

They don't make it obvious, but these are recordings of a select group of Richard Feynman's actual lectures. They tried to fix up the audio form one damaged reel at the beginning, but its a little rough. For the most part the audio is good to great. Very engaging. Sometimes hard to follow without being able to see his diagrams etc..

Ignore the other comments

Being able to hear these lecture from Feynman's own lips is an honor and a privilege. The first lecture is slightly incoherent, but the other 5 are easy to understand. As for the graphs and charts, you can easily find PDFs of the book online that have all of the graphs and charts. Don't miss this chance to hear this genius speak because of minor inconveniences.

Feynman is a genius and his lectures

are absolutely wonderful. No nonsense, high-standards lecturing. He doesn't sound like a brilliant physicist, he sounds like a guy just explaining how a motor runs.

Fantastic stuff!

First Lecture is unclear, the rest of them is fine. Same content as the Feynman's lecture on Physics. Great way to learn Physics during walking. It helps me revise A-Level Physics.

Basics from a Master

The book consists of six lectures, I have the the paperback version also and notices a lot of the introductory material was not included in this audio. And of course the diagrams you don't get the in audio. But neverthless I enjoyed the read and gave the lectures 4 stars. Overall 3 stars. If you don't like science don't buy this book.
