What would have made Ski Bums and the Art of Skiing better?

More about actually skiing and less about pot and beer. There were so many things introduced that were not wrapped up before the end of the book. He also exaggerated a lot, getting a ticket is not being arrested.

What was most disappointing about Tom Simek’s story?

He didn't talk about actually skiing, more about conversations, pot, beer and riding in the car filled with smoke from the pot.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The tone he was using made me think there was something horrible going to happen but, it didn't. He was a little overly-dramatic.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Skiing is amazing, every once in a while he would share something about being on the mountain and it made me want to hit the slopes.

Any additional comments?

There was so much potential but I was so bored with this book. I would not recommend it unless you are really excited to listen about getting high, drunk and a small amount of skiing. I really had high hopes for this one.

What a let down!

Was aright, but bland, as a person who works in the ski industry I found only a few things really applicable and lots of over generalizing

Meh
