Nearly nothing to do with small talk

I listened to over half of this short book before I turned it off. I was very disappointed. It has almost nothing about what the title suggests: small talk. This book is more about making first impressions and it's pretty remedial with the tips and suggestions it makes on that topic. My guess is that most people can skip this book because it contains much of what you'd already know or learn just by paying attention or being part of a social community. This book is for hermits who have spent most of their life outside of social settings and are wanting tips for becoming more social. That is, folks who are completely clueless about social norms, making good first impressions, dressing for success, etc. This book should be titled 'A Guide to Adequate First Impressions for People Completely Clueless.' From the first half of the book, nearly nothing of it is about making small talk.

Start a conversation in a good

Awesome guide for people. I find that from Amazon. I love to listen to people's stories when we can move beyond the mundane but have wondered how to move women beyond their current diet or workout regimen, addictions or my Super Child's lifelong accomplishments. Thanks for the Author for this great guide. Helpful for everyone. Thanks!

I want my money back

If I could give it 0 stars I would. So dumb common sense stuff. This feels like a book for little kids or something. there's no scientific or psychological information. Not at all what I thought it was going to be & I'm very disappointed.

Waste

Terrible book. Repetitive, boring, unimaginative. Would rather chew rocks than listen to this book again.
