About this listen
Planning to surprise her father, Beth Wyndam arrives at Reed Nixon's Alaskan guide facility a day earlier than the rest of her party. Terrible weather snows her in with the surly older man, but she finds herself drawn to him despite his grumpiness. Reed wants her too, but the 15 years separating them, along with the differences in their backgrounds, are obstacles he can't bring himself to ignore. With a little luck, a lot of snow, and a power outage, Beth gets Reed in her bed. It's everything she had hoped, but the real challenge is not falling in love with a man who warned from the start there was no future for them - especially when she realizes there will be a permanent reminder of their affair.

Good story
This was a short, sweet, sexy and satisfying story. A May-December romance the characters overcome hurdles on their way to a HEA. The narrator also did a very nice job.

Grumpy Young Man and the Virgin
This book was pretty good but would have been better with a different narrator. Reed was a grumpy mid-30s man and Beth was an 18 year old virgin. I don’t care for the way he spoke to her. He would say things that hurt her. He didn’t want her to get too close to him. They came from totally different worlds but Beth knew exactly what she wanted and went after it. She didn’t let their 15-year age difference stop her. She was very mature for her age, even more so than Reed.
David Quimby was a fair narrator. I think he sounded too old for the characters in this book. He made Reed sound in his 50s rather than his mid-30s age. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
