About this listen

Someone is killing the gay boys of Verona, Indiana, and only one gay youth stands in the way. He finds himself pitted against powerful foes but finds allies in places he did not expect.

A brutal murder. Gay ghosts. A haunted Victorian mansion. A cult of hate. A 100-year-old ax murder. All this and more await 16-year-old Sean as he delves into the supernatural and races to discover the murderer before he strikes again.

Someone Is Killing the Gay Boys of Verona is a supernatural murder mystery that goes where no gay novel has set foot before. It is a tale of love, hate, friendship, and revenge.

eh

it was a decent story, I kinda felt like the main character was a bit to much of a sissy....I mean grow a back bone and fight back once in a while!

Fiction writing was way off base…

As for the narrator, he spoke very fast, ignoring commas and periods. There was no dramatic pause or indication of the boy’s feelings. Multiple boys are killed and he’s like, oh no, not another one. For the fiction, well the author chose a big scary house which was good. The ghost scenes were well done. However, the family bought a house with no electricity so when the boy grabs a root beer bottle from the refridgerator, well one has to ask how did that happen. Also, he “grabs a quick shower” and runs downtown. Well there again, how does one do that? These are obvious flaws that confuse the reader and makes even the fiction implausible. As for a teenage boy finding the cause of death where the coronoer missed it, well thats another critism for another time. I have looked to see if the author ever accounted for these errors and I couldn’t find any explanation. Good fiction should be consistent. The story was poorly edited and performed.
