Is there anything you would change about this book?
The ending! I guess I'm an incurable romantic.Would you recommend Someone in the House to your friends? Why or why not?
No. The ending! I want HAPPY endings.Which scene was your favorite?
I liked when Ann arrived at the house, when she met Bea (was she really Aunt Bee of Mayberry? Such a homebody!) When Ann checked on Kevin after he was drugged and the next day they found that mossy bower outside, I was thrilled - & that was probably my favorite . I liked Bea and Roger until Roger started acting so obnoxiously abrasive.Do you think Someone in the House needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
That would be interesting. Will Debbie start planting flowers & embroidering hankerchiefs? Will Kevin continue to drift? Will Roger's skepticism ever revive?
Will the psychic control ever be broken? But my favorite character was Ann and I care much more about her than the rest.
Any additional comments?
Again - the ending was a real downer. Such a shame as Barbara Rosenblat's reading is SO enjoyable. I just love her. She's the best.Loved this all the way to end - then disappointed
