Publisher's summary

Banner Spurlock knew the moment that he walked into Kilgore High School and saw Perry Street that life was about to get interesting.

Forced to move due to a problem at home, a problem in the form of his ex-best friend hating him for something that Banner’s father did, Banner doesn’t think very much could improve in his life.

He left his status as king of Benton High School behind and moved to a new school where not only would he have to try out for a new football team and prove himself, but he’d also have to find a place for himself in the hierarchy. Only, the moment that he arrives, he knows that finding a place for himself won’t be too hard. Especially when his reputation follows him all the way to Kilgore, Texas.

Perry Street hates school. She hates her peers - most of them anyway - and she hates her classes. All she wants to do is finish her senior year, graduate, and find a place that will give her a full scholarship so that she doesn’t have to be stuck here forever.

That’s her goal, anyway.

Then she walks into first period, on her first day of her senior year, and sits down. Seconds later, he walks in and changes every single plan she’s ever made.

It isn’t long before Perry starts to fall for the bad boy who doesn’t care who he does and doesn’t impress. The boy makes her heart flutter. The boy makes her want things that she’s never wanted before. Not ever.

The boy brings trouble with him that nearly kills her.

Ok wow I wanted more more

I love this story. I love how connected all the stories are but I wanted more details near the end but wasn’t mad at all at how sweet it was Banner is a great character but all the Spurlock gang are pretty awesome. Worth it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

five gut wrenching tears....

A different kind of book for LLV. TRIGGERS: BULLYING, ASSAULT, ATTEMPTED RAPE. This one takes a special look into one of the "teens" of the Dixie Wardens MC. The youngest son of Trance and Viddy, Banner Spurlock. Looking into the lives of high school students is scary enough. LLV takes us into the deepest depths of hell… Banner and his best friend Vance have had a falling out. Because of how bad things have gotten, Trance sends Banner to live with one of his brothers to finish out his senior year. Perry is a loner but a star athlete in volleyball and cross country. Both of them deal with bullies in their own way. Perry deals with the mean girls of the school and Banner has own problems. While dealing with the brats, they find each other, it's not an insta romance but it's a sweet and hot buildup. I first felt a little weird reading about teenagers because they are seventeen but LLV handles it in a completely responsible way. And of course, no book by LLV would be complete unless there's a good ripping of the heart. Only because, that situation I actually went through in high school and so it was like living it all over again. I'm glad this story had a better ending. Another slam dunk.

Cute!

Young love, so darned cute!

I had given up on checking for this audiobook until I saw LLV’s Facebook post that it was out, and it was worth the wait.

This couple find their love at a young age, but you just know after all they go through, that theirs is the real thing.

And it is always good when you have more than one Spurlock be part of the story - specially Trance taking care of his grown up kids!

Love the story, loved their Happily Ever After!
