Oh it's so intense

Where does Something to Die For rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Something to Die For ranks Right up in the top 10 of my favorite audiobooks.

What other book might you compare Something to Die For to and why?

I don't compare it, it's a stand alone story. In the beginning it moved kinda slow, & then POW, it's on & popping.

What does Ezra Knight bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Ezra Knight is one of my favorite narrators, & I follow his audio Books. This is how I connected with author Travis Hunter. Ezra has a knack of bringing each character life. There's a part in the book where there is a pause of suspense, Mr. Knight had my breath caught waiting for the next scene.

If you could take any character from Something to Die For out to dinner, who would it be and why?

The lead character Nasir, because of humble spirit, his fight back into society, the way he takes responsibility for the ppl he loves & the way he forgives. Oh and Grandmother Lassiter, she bossy & sassy just like I love it.

Any additional comments?

At first, I thought this book was going to be so predictable, but it was not. There were some sad point that actually had me in tears. And of course there were some funny & inspirational scenes too. Overall it's a great book.

Addictive

The main characters were so well-developed that I felt like I knew them. The story had everything: suspense, love, family dysfunction, revenge, humor, true friendship, family love, etc. I didn't want it to end.

A voice I could listen to ALL night

Ezra has done it again! His voice is so masculine and gripping. Made me picture some things in the love scenes! That said ... I didn't think I was going to like the main character. Sounded really selfish at first, but he turned out to be the best surprise. Noble, family-oriented, honorable, a man of his word and brave. With a good character and a good narrator, it was definitely a win-win for me.
