great content terrible narrator

loved the content. Very interesting but the narrator was very dry and made it difficult to stay focused or interested. I would recommend only for the content if you want to learn about john Muir's life.

Just a Tramp

A beautiful soul, this John Muir. Beautiful soul. His words are as beautiful as the places and things they are about.

Powerful Biography of John Muir

Dramatic inspiring account of the genius, zest, youthful wonder of John Muir helped save the Redwoods, Yosemite Valley, Sequoia Park, the Grand Canyon, helped explain how Yosemite was mainly created by glaciers. Geologist, botanist, naturalist, creative nature writer, Muir was multi-talented.

The Marvelous and Brilliant John Muir

I loved the beautiful writing and narration of John Muir's remarkable life. I was spell bound from the beginning and his story touched my heart.
He was well trained in religion and the Bible, raised by an autocratic zealot father, John's heart was called by nature finding God among the trees, mountains and springs.
John Muir traveled the world but had no greater love than for the Yosemite, God's Cathedral. That is where John was truly converted.
This book is a story of a life well lived!

Freaking Awesome

This is the type of story that enriches both one’s soul and mind. I enjoyed every bit of it. The narrator provides a straightforward approach with several poignant expressions of Scottish brogue when explaining a Muir quote or family interaction. Lovely and glorious.
