About this listen

Forest trails, cactus flails, and little skunk tails, that's where I get my magic...

"Surprise, you're a witch." That's not exactly what I expected when I inherited a cozy little cottage in the woods. Nor to have a cactus as my new door guard or a skunk as my familiar! Still, this whole magic thing is growing on me.

The pair of hot boyfriends certainly helps make it easier to accept the insanity. But after dealing a serious blow to the coven of wixen who planned to enslave me, I'm kinda screwed. I may have won that battle, but I learned I do not know enough to stop the upcoming war—and a skunk can only teach me so much.

What I need is a little help here! Yet when it's offered by the bad boy of the coven, I'm not sure I can trust it. Never mind that he's my boyfriend's ex! Things are starting to get complicated, and I still can't find the lost wild things. If those die, magic will be lost forever!

How can I save them if I don't even know where they're being held? Worse, how can I do this? I still don't know what I'm doing! Or maybe I should just let the magic die? That might be the only way to end this once and for all.

If you like found families, swoony romance, and paranormal problems, you'll love this captivating tale. Spells In The Summertime is the second book in the Where The Wild Things Grow series, set in the larger Moonlight Universe.

At a crossroads

A sweet, sexy romance that is about good vs evil. Selfish vs Giving and bloodlines vs real family. The second story about Silvia Holt twists and turns and has a climatic and satisfying ending. Voice acting was wonderful. I like that they also narrated the Wolves Next Door series which is in the same universe

This series is unique and fun

I really am loving this series! It’s such a unique take on witches and we finally get to see how this is in the same world as the Wolf’s Run series! Highly recommend!!

Love the story and all the narrators

All of auryn hadleys books are amazing. The world building and character building are spot on. She also pickes the best narrators. This book unlike some of her others is low on spice. Maybe only two or three scenes in total. But that doesn’t detract from the story at all. I read all three of these books but also purchased them on audible to listen to. Definitely with the money. Can’t wait til the next in the series comes out.

Great story!

Great story and great characters but 🙄 pronouns and non binary crap 🙄 why put his stuff in a fun book about witches and action and love? Totally annoying. I don’t care about what people identify as and what color anyone is, but it’s so cringe to have to listen to sexual identity crap, complete with a lecture about pronouns in the middle of a paranormal romance. Leave this stuff out and just build the world without the identity crap. It’s not even labeled as lbgtq so the whole non binary-a sexual thing was 🙄 There’s a time and a place, this was not either of them. Despite that, I will get the 3rd book so I can see how it ends and hope, yet again, that this stops and the focus will be on The paranormal romance. Because that’s where it’s awesome. That’s where the cool ass story is. It’s a fun book besides that stuff.
