About this listen
Hired to solve the murder of a local mechanic, Darius soon discovers the victim is just one in a series of suspicious deaths, but is there really a ghost at the heart of the case?
The cops sure don’t think so, but whoever is behind it doesn’t like Darius poking around and if he’s not careful the so called ‘Casper Killer’ will add him to the list of victims.
Joined by an eager journalist, a loyal beagle, and a band of brothers from the pub, Darius is well and truly in the killer's crosshairs.
Can they uncover the truth before they are added to the Caper Killer's unfinished business? Or will they discover the ghost they are chasing is just the puppet?
One thing is for sure, Australia is in for a surge of paranormal nonsense, and someone is going to have to sort it out.
Get ready for urban fantasy mayhem.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he’s alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Story
In the not-too-distant future, a 21-member crew launches from Earth. Their mission: to establish a temporary colony on Mars. Little do they know that colony will become permanent–and the last stand of the human race. Because, without warning, every single person left on Earth simply...vanishes. Now, a thousand years later, the resources needed to sustain life are running out, and the very existence of the Mars colony is threatened. Humankind has only one option–to return to its home planet.

Darius Kane is Australia’s only paranormal investigator. The police don’t like him, the local crime kingpin wants to kill him, and there’s definitely something sinister watching him from the shadows. The Gold Coast has its share of weird and unexplained, just like everywhere else, but when a local swim coach goes missing, Darius finds his attention drawn to the waves … or, more accurately, what might be lurking beneath them. He’s still sweeping up the mess left behind by the gang of sacrifice-happy cultists, and needs to get the police off his back, but with a stack of bills and ...

Curiosity. It’s going to get more than just the cat killed. Sacramento has its share of spooky, crazy, and unexplained, just like everywhere else, but most other places don’t have a self-appointed paranormal investigator to really stir things up. There are good reasons to fear the night. August Watson is about to kick them in the pants. With an oversized sidekick, a school-skipping apprentice, and too many bad habits to count, August aims to drag the truth into the light. Kicking and screaming if necessary.

Investigate weird goings on for a living? What kind of nutbag would do that? Well, the kind with bills to pay, actually. In the quiet seclusion of the Appalachia mountains, something evil stirs. Home to generations of witches, the entire region knows the lore, and everyone knows someone with at least a suggestion of the supernatural in their family. Someone is resurrecting the dead. That’s what Edgar’s client claims. Way up in the Appalachian Mountains, far from what most folks would call civilisation, a remote community has a new preacher with some rather disturbing skills. Worse yet, his followers act more like a cult, their belief in the man behind the miracles dangerously unshakable. Edgar’s job is to rescue his client’s sister, a woman swept up in the worrying fervour surrounding the enigmatic priest, but trying to disprove a resurrection quickly becomes a fight for his life when the locals begin to understand his motives....

In the nation’s Capital, someone is re-enacting the murders from a series of grisly horror books, and all the evidence points towards the author as the perpetrator. The big problem with that? Now the victims are those who were closest to him, and it looks like the author has come back from the dead to exact his revenge. Hidden in the seclusion of the Appalachian Mountains, the remote settlements are perfect targets for those who wish to prey on the weak … the human. Hired to investigate a mysterious bloodletting case, everything indicates Edgar is dealing with a clan of mobile vampires. He can’t take the case though, his ordeal with the cult has left him close to bedridden, but that’s not the case for close friend and secret crush, Poppy.
