Publisher's summary

"What initially seems like a simple crime story expands into other realms.... An often compelling mystery that combines ancient knowledge, modern evil, and unlikely heroes." (Kirkus Reviews)

STACKS Library of Truth is a thriller that takes place behind the scenes of the largest depository of knowledge in the world, the Library of Congress, where secrets abound, and ancient symbology takes on hidden meaning.

Zach Eldridge, a 28-year-old information specialist with acquired savant syndrome, has been cryptically summoned to Washington by the Master Librarian to the Library of Congress to address a “black hole” of missing items. He arrives only to learn that the Librarian has died the night before under mysterious circumstances without leaving Zach any instructions. While working in the stacks, Zach accidentally opens a dimensional portal into an otherworldly Library of Truth which contains holographic records on everything and everyone since time began. Zach uses the information in this library within a library to become the “deep throat” to Washington, DC TV news reporter, Cali Cavaleri, who is trying to resurrect her career.

Together, the two will cause upheaval in the Nation’s Capitol as crimes against humanity surface. To complicate matters, Zach’s access into the Library of Truth alerts the attention of an ancient society which has seized control of the portal for global gain. While Zach tries to evade detection and stay alive, his life takes on new meaning when he meets the Library's red-headed docent whose Senator father has deep ties to those who control the secret library. And from there the twists and turns begin in a race against time for man's freedom.

Incredible Author

I first saw the author on the Jeff Mara podcast. To my surprise this fiction is full of facts and a compelling story. I am three books into the series and getting the fourth. I got it on the Kindle app with the Audible edition. That way I can read or listen to it and at a discount. Even though set in Washington DC, it’s not highly political, only referencing political figures. They are all fictional. Thank you Kathy for this compelling work.
