About this listen

One hundred years ago, 4 crewmembers of the U.S.S. Enterprise™ crossed the dimensional barrier and found a mirror image of their own universe, populated by nightmare duplicates of their shipmates. Barely able to escape with their lives, they returned, thankful that the accident which had brought them there could not be duplicated...or so they thought.

But now the scientists of that empire have found a doorway into our universe. Their plan is to destroy from within, to replace a Federation Starship with one of their own. Their victims are the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D, who now find themselves engaged in combat against the most savage enemies they have ever encountered: themselves.

Good story just wish it were longer! Listening to Q is awesome as always. Listen!

Very much enjoyed the reader as well as the story. It added so much to the Trek universe.

Well Done

I love the plot but it was much too short. It is the abridged version so it’s better to read the book. I love John DeLancie as Q but his voice was the same for each character which made it difficult to know which character was speaking….

One of my favorite episodes in the original series was the mirror episode. I had always wanted to know what the next Gen crew would have been like in that universe. Now I feel like I know.

The episode I wish Next Generation did.

Good read by Delance. He intones very well his character s. Actually wish was a little longer.

Great audio book.

Very well done. It's a logical sequel followup to Mirror Miror from TOS with a few references from that episode the TNT crews draws on. Excellent story for a drive.

You wanted a mirror universe episode with the TNG crew? Of course you did. So just download the book already. You don't need me to nit-pick it

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I really like the Mirror Universe for some reason, so I got a kick out of this book despite the poor narration. The technobabble is par for the course for Star Trek, but it seems to be even more annoying and distracting coming out of the mouth of De Lancie.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of John De Lancie?

De Lancie is very good at playing Q, but he does not have a particularly good voice for audiobooks. His attempts to imitate the voices of the other characters fall flat.

Poor performance holds back a good Trek yarn
