About this listen

Rule #11: I want to make you feel ecstasy at least once a day. At least. Maybe twice. Three times. All day. I want to be with you all the time, near you, next to you, inside you. I need you....

We all have our strengths and weakness. We're all good at something and bad at something else. This is why we need each other. This is why it makes sense for Ethan and me to be together.

I'm the good girl, the careful, cautious one who thinks before she acts. Ethan is the bad boy, the risk taker, the person who jumps into action regardless of the consequences. Sometimes you can't wait to think before you act, though. Sometimes you can't be careful or cautious. And sometimes you need to know when a risk is too great and when you should rein in your recklessness and consider the repercussions.

This is why we're perfect together. I'm sure there's a lot more reasons, but I think that's one of them.

No matter what happens, we're going to find a way to be together....

Father & Son Bonding

So while this part of the story picked up right where the last one left off, it still took time to resolve the last cliffhanger. Ethan and Ashley each spend the evening with their respective parents and things don’t exactly go as planned. There were some funny moments and several heavy ones. And a new character was introduced. By the end there was no cliffhanger, but there is still a sense that there’s more to resolve.

Ethan and Ashley. His father is married to her mother. They all go on a camping trip. Shes the good girl and hes the bad boy. Her mom knows about them but his dad doesnt and he wants to tell him. He will tell him this camping trip...SURE. Lots of chemistry between them. Lots of ruminging around the woods.

camping fun

Ethan and his father go for a hike in the woods to have a heart to heart and end up lost. I love that they are able to talk things out from their past Ashley and her mother spend the day trying to figure out how to fish. Caleb ends up blurting out a huge secret to Ashley's mom.

Secrets

The thing about secrets is that they have a habit of coming to the surface and being revealed at some point. For Ethan and Ashley, they might being figuring that out sooner rather than later. This is a fantastic installment in this serial. I am loving the development and it keeps me wanting to come back for more.

Moving forward

Things are getting (even more) complicated for our hero and heroine. How can they find time to themselves and what happens if they get caught? Things are going to reach a breaking point pretty soon.

This is book eleven of the series and book five of the second story arc. It does pretty well as a standalone, but this late in the series it is better if you start at the beginning.

This is a short erotic romance for the taboo variety. The story is well written and easy to read (or listen to in this case) with a simple, but very well done cast of characters. I really liked both our hero and heroine for who they are. And mom is a lot of fun as well. The plot is fairly straightforward, but it is also really well done and very steamy. The story keeps getting better for me and I really enjoy watching the characters grow, both individually and as a couple. Bring on the next (and I believe, last) book!

Highly recommended.

The great out doors

This one is where everything comes out and it is like a cleansing purge. There is humor and adventure and emotional unloading.

I liked this one since there was some resolution but I’ll be interested to see how Ethan’s dad reacts to Ashley being blackmailed by Jake.

It really is a cool family, no way would mine have been cool about sleeping with a boy regardless of our relationship. I guess that’s what makes this story interesting since it is far from my reality.

One more episode to go on season two, I wonder what cliffhanger will be there.

Benefits #11

It only took forever for the whole family to be in on the secret relationship between Ethan and Ashley. I feel like Ethan and his dad were able to get a little closer once the secret was out as they were able to really talk about things. Mom and Dad are both on board for this relationship so it will be interesting to see how many times they are caught “together”. Ashley irritates me a little – she is all about the drama – she overthinks EVERYTHING! I would think if anything were to break them up, it would be Ashley’s insecurity and the fact that she is a drama queen and can be a little immature at times. I know she hasn’t had a whole lot of experience but come on!!! LOL! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Like an episode of a TV series episode 11 (part 11

I really liked this slice of life. It was entertaining and enjoyable even though it's more like an episode of a TV show than a book. A book to me has a distinct beginning, middle, and end while this book just stopped. The characters were interesting and you got to hear from both of them. Ashley and Ethan talk about what to do about Caleb and Ethan's dad. There was a lot of heartfelt conversation between Ethan and his dad. Ashley's mom cracked me up again. Ethan cracked me up as well. Ashley and Ethan were super sweet and cute together too.

I thought the story was interesting but I wanted more. The narrators did an excellent job, especially because of the way the story is written, it's as if the characters were talking directly to you as the listener (or reader). It's smutty and short but good. I recommend listening to this audiobook (or reading the ebook).
