Publisher's summary

In Still the Love of His Life, death stalks the corridors at Maggie’s hospital, and serial killer ex, Rob, begins to send her threatening letters from behind bars. As if that wasn't enough, someone is also killing her patients at the hospital where she works.

With Phil, a seemingly harmless admirer, following her every move, Maggie can't help but wonder if he's involved in the terrifying events that are unfolding around her.

As the killings continue and the threats against her escalate, Maggie and the police must race against time to uncover the link between Rob, the killer on the loose, and Phil...before it's too late. Will they solve the mystery before she becomes the next victim?

Still the Love of His Life is a gripping and heart-pounding thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last minute.

Good story

"Still the Love of His Life," the second installment in her Dark Obsession trilogy. The initial book revolves around Maggie, a woman entangled in a blind date gone awry, triggering a stalking ordeal intertwined with mysterious murders. The sequel unfolds a year later, unveiling a chilling wave of violence at the hospital where Maggie works, shrouded in an unexpected perpetrator.

Garcia weaves a compelling narrative through alternating perspectives, primarily focusing on detectives navigating the intricate web of these unsettling crimes. Without divulging spoilers, each book harbors unforeseen twists that defy expectations, making them a gripping read for thriller and murder mystery enthusiasts. I award this installment a solid four stars.

As a side note, opting for the audiobook introduces minor drawbacks in terms of sound quality and occasional narration imperfections. However, these nuances don't significantly detract from the overall experience. If you enjoy a suspenseful narrative with a touch of the stalker trope, Molly’s works are certainly worth exploring.

I enjoyed the narration of Kiara Nicole Pillai

Maggie is dealing with a lot, her ex Rob is sending her treating letters , behind bars. Then Phil a admirer, maybe harmless but stalks her. Also someone in the hospital is killing off her patients at the hospital where she works.
Maggie and the police are running against the clock as the killings continue and the threats against her grow. Who will be the next victim.

You will be on your toes.
