This is actually my first domme/sub book and I really enjoyed it! When trying something new I prefer to read from a trusted author. Knowing I love Melody Tyden made listening to this one an easy choice. I think those with and without kinks can enjoy this book. There is a perfect mix of heat along with a great plot that will keep you coming back for more! I couldn't stop listening to Hanna Schooner and Giancarlo Herrera. They are fantastic and the book is a duet instead of dual for those looking for that specifically. Giancarlos's laughter is so sexy and i cant get enough!

Loved it! You can get lost in Giancarlos's voice!

This story was amazing about a girl who came back from over seas and meet a man that had a softer side to them. They were able to explore femdom aspect of their relationship and boy, it was hot. The narrators did a fantastic job, the accent of the male narrator will make you melt. I sure felt the steam come to live through this audio. The narrators brought this story to live and made you feel like it was a very personal story to them and you felt like you were right there in the room living it with them. Absolutely loved Melody’s story cant wait to listen to more audios of hers.

I just love the 2 people doing the narrorating, you can feel there chemistry between them and it was just amazing I really was taken away and felt like I was right there in the book it took me away to another place and just loved it, Julian and Eve has been done justice in this Audiobook and so happy I can listen to them anytime I want over and over again.
Melody books are just amazing when you read them and listen to them as she really takes you on a journey and I have read some of her books more then once and Listen to them more then once and it is good everytime.

I am an avid reader of Melody's. Her Christmas series is a huge hit in my eyes and many others. This is the second time I have read this story. I have never listened to any of her stories in audio format this was the first one. I was blown away by the choices she had for the characters as far as who was reading. I felt that the story was read at the same pace I would read myself which made it more enjoyable for sure. I truly am a visual person, so when I read I literally paint a scene in my head of the characters and everything going on. I definitely felt that these voices were spot on with how I felt the characters would be in real life if they were actual real. The way that French accent in Julien came through was definitely something else.

A brief synopsis of the story. This is book 5 of the series so it helps if you have some background to know that Eve is the daughter of the original characters Cole and Gemma. Both Cole and Gemma were professionals who were extremely successful and financially secure in their own rights but became a dynamic duo when they got together. Eve is more of a simple woman, while she grew up with money and no real worries about paying bills or having food, clothing or shelter, she wasn't absorbed by it. Eve always felt the need to make her own way in the world without the help of her parents name, money or prestige. Eve definitely takes a lot of chances which could be due to the fact that she knows she has the ability to pull her way out of it with one phone call home. Eve definitely is a strong woman who isn't going to sit by idling and wait for things to happen and definitely doesn't play into being someone who needs to be rescued.

Julien isn't your typical alpha male. He is successful in business and knows how to command others to get the job done in the manner it needs to be done but he likes to take the back seat and have someone take charge of him when it comes to his private relationships. Julien has always had to work for what he has in life, being a child of a single mom, who had to work endless hours to provide food, clothing and shelter. Julien views those who have money as fake and classless having no real world experience or expertise. Julien can't imagine ever having anything in common with someone who comes from money.

This book is definitely for those who like steam and spice. If you have issues with scenes that describe intimate natures between couples you definitely don't want to read this. The story itself is of two opposites worlds coming together in a way to bring about a true love story not like most others. There are many twists and turns along the way. Some of these you can see coming but not all.

Like all the books in this series the theme is Christmas and you will read about many different Christmas customs. The places and events that take place are unique in their own right but with Julien and Eve it's even better. I often wish I could go on the adventures of the characters in this series. Things typically work out for the characters in the end but it's not without a great deal of effort and overcoming obstacles to get there.

I personally believe that you will enjoy the book in all formats. If you do chose to enjoy this book through an audio version, I strongly suggest you have headphones and listen to it alone because you will likely get worked up in some way from it. It could be just becoming flushed in the cheeks if you notice someone in the same room as you when you are hearing some descriptions from your lovely narrators. Or it could be something else. Go enjoy it. You won't be disappointed.

This can be read as a stand alone but it's better to have the whole series under your belt, so you get a true feel for the way Eve is and how she came to be that way. You will enjoy the other books as well.
