About this listen

I never thought I’d find her.

After eight years in the marines, I’m still looking for the mysterious woman I’ve obsessed over since her first letter. When she shows up in my small town, I’m thrilled.

But when she turns out to be my brother’s best friend--and the girl he’s always loved--I’m caught between the two people who matter to me the most.

I’m a marine, which means honor and duty run deep. Joanna is off-limits. That would be a whole lot easier if she hadn’t already agreed to help run my brother’s fishing guide business for the summer, forcing me to work side-by-side with the woman I’ve fantasized about for years. I try to keep her at a distance, push her away, and man up. But she draws me in without even trying, and I can’t get enough of how she makes me feel. I’m stealing moments with her, and I know it’s wrong. She may not be my brother’s girlfriend, but I know a landmine when I see one.

Author's note: Finding You is a scorching hot interconnected stand-alone small-town romance. It is not a love triangle. Finding You is the first book in the Chikalu Falls series set in the fictional Montana town, Chikalu Falls.

Small Town Romance

This is everything I want from a small-town romance. A smart and strong female main character with a bit of vulnerability. A slightly broken but protective and possessive male lead. Fun side characters that really bring the town to life. I just loved it.
Joanna is a determined woman working in a predominantly man's field. Lincoln is an ex-marine who is finding his place in his hometown.
The way they "meet" is so sweet and moving that you are rooting for them before they've ever even been in the same room together.
I really loved the contrast between the two pairs of siblings' relationships. Lincoln and Finn are getting to know each other again after so many years apart. These brothers, while having a lot in common, are still finding their comfort zone with each other. Meanwhile Joanna and Honey are complete opposites, but their sister bond is strong as steel. Very different relationships but you could feel the love and affection in both.
I can't say enough about what a fantastic job Stephen Dexter and Charlotte North did in narrating this audiobook. A perfect casting job.
This book was a great read with a good amount of spice and just a touch of angst. If you like small-town romance you will enjoy this as much as I did.

I absolutely loved this! I loved Joanna and Lincoln’s story. Lena did a great job of writing a mature, fun FMC and Lincoln sounds hot AF… and the spice 🤤

Small Town, Big Crush on Lincoln

This was my first book by Lena Hendrix and I absolutely loved it. I loved the progression of the story and how we saw the past and how it was effecting Lincoln and Joanna. I loved the little glances into the letters and the connection they had.

I don’t normally gravitate toward Military romance but this one was just fantastic. It was light and fun, but did have the seriousness of PTSD and what Lincoln was going through after returning from war and trying to find low.

The performances were also just fantastic! definitely recommend this audio!!

I really liked it

I am not a huge book critic, if it has some kind of romance I’m here to listen to it. The voices are perfect for this performance. I really liked the story line too. It had some good romance moments in it. I can’t wait for book 2 to come out.

So good!!!

Holy smokes did I enjoy this book!! It was SO GOOD! I listened to this one audio and what a great decision that was. The narrators were amazing, they told the story perfectly.

I fell in love with Lincoln, with his and Joanna’s story. This book gave me all the feels. I smiled, I teared up, and I swooned. Oh and the spice… SO GOOD 😮‍💨

Finding You is ex-military, brothers best friend, small town perfection and I definitely recommend you read this one.

A good romance read

I enjoyed the story. A damaged veteran, and a jilted girl. Things in common, she wrote letters to him while he was deployed and they bonded. Filled with angst and healing.

Small-town swoon ❤️

Joanna knows what she wants from life and not even her family will stop her from achieving those dreams. When it comes to love, she just wants to be accepted for who she is instead of who everyone wants her to be. Lincoln is trying to rebuild his life after serving eight years in the marines. Joanna’s letters kept him going when he was far from home, so now that she’s within reach, can he really just let her go?

Finding You was my first Lena Hendrix book. I’m a sucker for small-town romances and I really enjoyed this one. I love how much time we get to spend with the characters outside and in nature, especially Joanna’s POV which really led to understanding her history and her dream she is working towards. The story was a great balance of sweet moments, struggles with living in the aftermath of trauma, and delightful spontaneous steamy scenes when the tension is unbearable, and they just can’t hold back any longer. The narration was wonderful 🥰🥰🥰 I was already a huge fan of both Charlotte and Stephen so this pairing was a treat. Absolutely spot on casting in this. They both have great energy and give us all the anxious feels, swirly butterflies and heartbreaking agony in all the right places.
