I've loved this Zandian World from the beginning but this time I felt I was left wanting a bit. I haven't quite put my finger on it but it's there. Maybe a small tweak here and there to punch up the story. Not sure. Gotta think on it. Still very much worth reading.
Having said that this book is extremely relevant as far as moving the story forward for the next book.
I do love our protagonists. They work.
I love the narration.
The flow -easy.
All in all a very satisfying listen.

Another fabulous story in this series. Honor is everything to a Zandian, and our main character need to restore his. Assisting an altered human in her escape is step #1. She is quite self-reliant until anything medical comes her way - she has had a tough life.

Both these characters need a fresh start / restart. Can they do it together?

Once again the narration is spot on and adds to, while in no way taking away from, the action.

Good stuff!

loved this book
as with zandian masters not one of these books disappoints. can't wait for the next book. I love when you update the characters from past books. I want to know how rock and lilly and all the others are. how many kids do they have etc. there are so many update sequels wed love to see!! keep them coming.

I loved Khrys and Kailani's book. The storyline kept me engaged and I found this couple easy to root for. Tension, emotion & desire make a potent brew that simmers along as the relationship between this duo evolves. Drama, action and adventure are added to this romance and that helps to create a very appealing read that delivers plenty of swoon, heat and excitement. Single narration on this book and I thought they did a very good job. The voice was pleasing to listen to and the performance solid. All and all, a entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable entry in this always fun series.

The heat just radiates from the story the longer Khrys and Kailani were together. It was palpable. I enjoyed seeing the recent mission turn into finding love and a mate. I liked seeing Kailani learning to trust Khrys and their relationship develop and grow. The epilogue was awesome!!! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job with voices and expressions bringing the characters and story to life.

I loved this book. This story of Khrys and Kailani is such a unique twist on the Zandian stories. Khrys saves her from the horrors of slavery and she in turn learns what love is and children and what it means to make a sacrifice that can literally save a planet. So awesome. And the incomparable voice of Jiraiya Addams brings every page to life superbly as only he can. This story overall is definitely an A++.

I absolutely love these sci-fi romances And Renee and Rebel do it phenomenal job with the story. The 2 main characters were amazing. The story line was awesome and page turning I could not stop listening to this book. Loved the narration.

I can’t say enough about how much I love this series. The storyline is very interesting and imaginative. I thought bringing a genetically engineered human into the mix was a nice touch to add to the storyline. In addition, the story was the perfect of action and usual smoking hot romance. I will be definitely be reading on to se what next happens with the alpha alien hunks and their mates

This book could be read as a standalone. I listened to the audio version. Some of the narration was decent, but much of it seemed to make the book drag. It might have been better if it included a female narrator as well as the male, or if the narrator didn't come across sometimes as over dramatic.

I thought the story was interesting. The idea of one person being able to save the haflings. Someone who could also help heal Khrys as well as feel loved and protected by Khrys. I love that Kailani was a fighter herself, strong and intelligent. I think I would have preferred the book to the audio book for this one.
