⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reviewer: "Wanna have fun? Read this. A rom-com that checks every box and is impossible to put down." -C.B.
Another day, another doll. Jackie Leeder makes the most of her one-night “bang-and-runs” when her high school tormentor crashes her bar scene. After some serious groveling from Ann Carter–formerly Annie (FN) Banks, Jackie must decide if she wants to hear out her apology fifteen years late.
But Jackie’s soft spot is for kids. And a playful, chance encounter with a little guy lost in a grocery store drops her in close proximity with the one woman she swore she’d set on fire if she ever saw her again. A fragile friendship forms around good times with Ann’s spunky son until she balks at Jackie’s love ‘em and leave ‘em lifestyle. Jackie doesn’t think she’ll mind the silent treatment.
Until she gets a panicked call from Ann pleading for help with her son.
With her eye on getting out of her rut and her hometown, will Jackie bail on long-term love, or forgive their past and see Ann for the changed woman who’s fallen for her?

Excellent story, but terrible title
Good story but the title was very misleading. Which was fine, I read the summary first and the story was as described. I don’t understand why that title was used to make it seem like a cheap erotica novel.

Enemy to Lovers
Great story about high school enemies reunited. Ann Carter, had bullied Jackie Leeder in high school. When Ann returned to take care of her father she tries to apologize and become friends. When Jackie meets Ann’s son she softened. A love them and leave them type meets her match.

Great story
Loved the story and the journey. Not so crazy about the virtual voice. No inflections and sometimes difficult to tell which character is talking during conversations. But again, aI loved the story 😊

Beautiful written, HORRIBLY narrated!.
I loved the way this story was written. I could really picture myself a little of each woman. Everything was just written so well, but then AI had to narrate it. The monotonous lack of inflection wrecked every beautiful word. The love scenes were particularly ridiculous. 🫤This is one book I wish I would have just read!(If only I could read at work 😕)
