Publisher's summary

Sunset SEALs Bundle, books five through eight. Includes the following four full-length books:

  • House at Sunset Beach
  • Second Chance Reunion
  • Love's Treasure
  • Finding Home

They follow the four original stories in the Sunset SEALs: SEALed at Sunset, Second Chance SEAL, Treasure Island SEAL, and Escape to Sunset. They contain the same couples but reveal what happens one year later as their relationships grow to an additional and oh-so satisfying HEA.

The House at Sunset Beach

SEAL Team 3 member Andy Carr is liking his Florida digs—the call of the seabirds and the roaring of the ocean at his back door. They've embarked on renovating the little house at Sunset she found while they were falling in love, and this house means more to them than just glass, wood, and sheetrock. Will echoes from their past destroy the harmony of their romance? Andy always fights to win, but what if he loses?

Second Chance Reunion

A baby given up for adoption.... This second chance couple learns the true meaning of family.... Like the Brotherhood...no one gets left behind.

Love's Treasure

Love blooms. Danger looms.... Ned has found love and adventure to fill a lifetime and a treasure more valuable than gold or silver to protect...if he can fight his way to the finish line.

Finding Home

A year has passed after the dangerous adventures Navy SEAL Jason Kealoha, a Pacific Islander by birth, and investigative reporter Kiley Worthington have endured while helping to shut down a human-trafficking ring operating out of a stolen cruise ship.

They both have to choose what their most important priorities will be, and they will be different for both of them.

This book bundle, along with Sunset SEALs Bundle 1, concludes the Sunset SEALs series in full.

Sunset SEALs Books 5-8

I loved the vocal recordings by JD Hart are pleasurable and his variations of character voices allow for easy listening. I had read some of theses stories but enjoyed listening to them in this bundle. JD Hart's interpretation of Mrs. Hamilton's books are very good and each character is distinguishable. Each book is about 5 hours long which is doable for listening in one sitting. The SEAL's in this group are on Sunset Beach exploring the island and meeting their HEA partner. These SEALs were introduced in the first four books of the series, but are followed again one year later.

Seals

House at Sunset Beach
Aimee and Andy finally get married. Shortly after the marriage, Andy deploys to Africa on a mission. Aimee has to handle life alone, while being “visited” by her mentally ill brother. The author did a good job showing the difficulties military spouses face with deployments. The story has a lot of emotions, and a magical spin to the house. I enjoyed this story.

Second Chance Reunion
Damon and Martel have a second chance at love. When they were together before, Martel got pregnant and gave the baby up for adoption. Before committing herself to Damon she wanted to find her daughter, and let Damon know he is a father. Damon is deployed to Mexico to stop human trafficking. Martel is searching for her daughter, and handling the issues with her students. Loved this story.

Love's Treasure
Ned and Madison dive off the Florida coast, looking for treasure. They are betrayed, and the dive is dangerous. The story has a twists, and suspense. In the end, it all works out. I found it a little harder to get engrossed in this tale.

Finding Home
Jason and Kiley are married. Their first child is on the way, and they are focusing on their new family. Jason, who is from Hawaii, has interesting naming traditions. This was a nice touch. The men deploy to Mexico, fighting those human traffickers. Kiley experiences danger with involvement with the human traffickers. Good story.

All the stories have well developed story lines and characters. Listening to the narrator is a pleasure.

Wonderful set of books

I felt for each of these characters and was excited to be part of their lives.
The House at Sunset Beach: I loved how Aimee was able to deal with Andy not being around, when he was deployed. The decisions she made and how much she is willing to help those less fortunate is so uplifting. The vivid descriptions help you feel as if you are with them in their endeavors. Love the camaraderie between all the characters while on deployment, and how adaptable they are.
Second Chance reunion: I loved how much strength Martel had, with all the issues she had to deal with. I loved the decisions she made, she has so much love for those who aren’t able to care for themselves. It was so hard for Damon when he wasn’t able to be there for her. I loved how it was all resolved. I really enjoyed the narrator, he was able to bring out the characters personalities so well, it was so awesome.
Love’s Treasure: I love how Ned looks at all sides of a situation before he will make his opinion known. There is so much excitement within this book, you can feel the emotion and the way everyone deals with what is thrown at them. You will find out who to trust when the thought of a huge payout. Madison and Ned make an awesome team, they are on the same wavelength, it’s like they are of one mind.
Finding Home: So much excitement and danger throughout this book. Kiley put herself in danger, even though she knew she shouldn’t. She thought she knew who to trust, but do you really. Jason wanted to be there for her, I loved the decisions he made with the news he received. I loved how the beach was such a big part of their lives, you don’t want to live anywhere else once you have lived there. I loved how her ex-employer didn’t want to lose her expertise.

Best. Narrator. Ever

I am in love with this narrator!?! He does a great job with all the characters, not just the male voices but female characters as well. I especially loved the inflection and special effects he used for telephone voices. If you think you hate audio books, I recommend that you listen to this set first before passing judgment. You might find yourself falling in love with this narrator!

Sunset SEALs!

Make sure you read/listen to the first four stories first! I enjoyed the audio version of these four stories in the "Sunset SEALs" collection. The collection includes the following four titles "House at Sunset Beach" (Aimee and Andy), "Second Chance Reunion" (Martel and Damon", "Love's Treasure" (Madison and Ned) and "Finding Home" (Kiley and Jason). This is a great collection because it is over 23 hours of listening fun or reading fun. The narrator did excellent job bring the characters and their stories to life. I enjoyed each of the captivating stories. I love the characters and thought their stories develop nicely. Each story brings something unique and fun!
