About this listen

Spiritual warfare victory!

A biblical and theological rationale with practical tools for advancing God's Kingdom. Supernatural Forces in Spiritual Warfare: Wrestling with Dark Angels is a compilation of keynote speaker presentations in an important symposium that was a public legitimizing of academic pursuits in fields related to the supernatural power of God both for local church ministries and for world evangelization. Topics include:

  • Power Evangelism: Definitions and Directions by John Wimber
  • We Are at War by Ed Murphy
  • Deception: Satan's Chief Tactic by Timothy M. Warner
  • Pentecostal/Charismatic Understanding of Exorcism by L. Grant McClurig Jr.
  • Sickness and Suffering in the New Testament by Peter H. Davids
  • In Dark Dungeons of Collective Captivity by F. Douglas Pennoyer

In addition to these scholars, well-known pastor, ministry leader, and teacher Dr. C. Peter Wagner examines the role spiritual warfare played in Christ's ministry - and applies it to today's battles. You don't have to be afraid of spiritual warfare - you have God's supernatural forces on your side every day in every way.

Deep, biblical but experiential both on historical and international scales.

C. Peter Wagner is an expert and professorial on power of God to deliver. I have been reading his book fir about twenty years now. When I was to publish my first book on deliverance. He has written many books on the subject- matter.

He is methodical, deals with issues of spiritual warfare with practical examples all over the world , both in the New Testament period, the Church Fathers period and contemporary times.
He has involved writings of scholars and testimonies from Nigeria, Africa, even Islam-dominated nations.

This book is broad in approach and yet deep and biblically systematic.
It is well written in universally understandable English language and the reader is very good too.
As an author of related book, Dislodging Demons: Systematic Approach to Deliverance Ministration: Yanetz, Jerusalem, 2002, I recommend this book as a crucial one on deliverance, Angelology, demonology, prayers and even on Christology, and soteriology.

The man reading this book needs much tutoring on words contained in the book. His pronunciation very poor and reading is very rapid.

Excellent source on spiritual warfare

I loved the discussions on territorial spirits and how enemy spirits use culture. I also liked the amazing accounts of missionaries as they use their authority in Jesus' name. This is an excellent work to have access to.

The reader of this book was not that great. He mispronounced many words that were from Greek or Latin and has trouble with words of three or more syllables. However the content is excellent and the places where pronunciation was bad do not take away from the main message.

Great Content/ Undesirable Narration

The book was really good. However, I hope that the publisher will add new narration.

Recording is not good

The message of the book certainly stimulates the mind and provokes study, but it is difficult to get the overall message through the recording errors and severely mispronounced words. At times it sounds like he is cutting off one sentence to start a whole new sentence. It’s annoying to listen to.

Book is fine, the reading is terrible

The reader mis-identifies and mis-pronounces about 20-30% of all the ‘big words’. A good ‘speaking voice’ does not compensate for an inability to properly identify and pronounce higher-reading-level vocabulary. No one could listen to this for long, I’m going to have to finish the book on the Kindle written version I really would like my credit back so that I could go on to another book which is read correctly.

Terrible

The reader is so terrible I could hardly stand to listen to him. He mispronounced so many words I could not bear to listen. How do you manage to mispronounce vineyard???

The book was slow moving with little impact.
